Signing Day Feb. 4

Above: Last year's signees came to the Tribune for a group picture.
I'm gathering a list of local athletes that are signing national letters of intent next week. I have most of them, but go ahead and list who you know because someone always slips through the cracks. It seems every year there are a few we miss simply because we never have any information passed on from the school or the players. Here's your chance, I want to mention everyone in a story next week.

Babay James:
Get a Life.. This process has nothing to do with you! Stay the "F" out of people lifes. You're the biggest joke that came out of SH. Now you act like you have something to do with these boys. Still right about Slam?
You're sill that loser that walked down Barranca every day. Hows the boys at the track?
"We are checking with recruiting coordinators this week to make sure that we have not missed anyone from the SGV or the IE as we prepare for signing day on Wednesday."
Fred:

How does it feel to go from winning championships to the cellar in one season.I don't think I've have ever seen a High School football program go down to the basement so fast in all the years Ive been watching High School football.
d ranchhhh
jealous??? again you must be kidding.show everyone a list of the cif championships you have won in football, better yet, show us the years you won your league.i guess that will be blank.at the end of your first post in here, you said( must be the coach.) i was wondering what you meant by that.now you post about co, is there anything else to boast about? again you must be kidding.they are more of a family over there than any program around.and they dont just concentrate on the players going to higher level. they care about (all) there players.all you talk about is the very short list of kids going to division one schools.in 3 years you may of had 5-7 division 1 players. what about the other 80- 90 kids on those 3 teams that got beat up and lost all those games. did you ever think how they feel? and believe me it is a concern to some over there.and as far as roddy goes. hes a great motivator, great talker, great recruiter, but not a very good (head ) coach yet.doesnt mean he wont be later on.in fact last year they did start to clean it up a bit, because they had a lot of bad penallties in the past, but that has improved.
did bryan bonilla already sign with villanova?
if so, villanova got one heck of an player.
roddy...you're the man!
BTW Rgd2626,
You have grammtical issues. Are you one of those sneaky, little
high school kids posting?? I did not understand the purpose of your post. Please, Please, Please, type your quote, copy and paste it on to a new document on Microsoft word, Click spell and grammar check, copy and paste into the comments box here on Freds blog.
"Is that a run on sentence I just wrote?"
"Bum"
Hate is Feminine emotion, and also a weak one. Its called envy and jealousy. All I simply did was respond to FRED'S request for kids that have been offered.
Yada, yada, we cant beat CO, yea yea, ive admitted that for this past year. You guys won, is there anything else to boast about for CO???? I would like to see who else in the SGV had kids with offers. Is there something wrong with that????? I wanted to see how many are coming out of SH, CO, BA, WC etc...
I wasnt boasting, just responding. Grow up guys?? BTW, we would like to see the kids that were offered by the local Community Colleges, excluding SAC, RGD and Will. Since your online responding to my post instead of responding to Fred's question, How many kids got offers from CO?? Just curious, not being sarcastic..You will know if sarcasm is intended
NEW B.A. VIDEO vs. CRESPI!!!
THIS IS INTENSE!!!

ENJOY ALL!!!
Thanks Hitandhustlecamp!!!
D Ranchhh
are you nuts? if los altos, charter oak, south hills, or bishop amat had 5 division 1 players and didnt win cif or didnt even win league, the alum would be trying to get em fired. please, when and if you guys ever win anything, then come back and boast, until then, your still another (also ran ). thats a fact !!!
Dominique Austin (Bishop Amat) who is standing in the rear of the photo also had a good freshman year at Arizona. After redshirting the first four games, he was moved from DE to DT and played in all of the games including the Vegas Bowl. Looks like he has a bright future down in Arizona. Does anyone know how Dorian Wells is doing at Villanova? Good luck to this year group
DRanchh, that's impressive. What do they also all have in common? THEY NEVER BEAT CO BABY! They never played together as a TEAM when it counted most! Which would also be another sign of that excellent coaching.
Only schools that have offered. As far as I know
1.Kyle Lengyel--Air Force
2.Graham Vickers--Navy
3.Brandon Sermons--UCLA
4.Bryan Bonilla-Villanova
5.Brian Spirling--Sac State or Eastern Michighan
Isnt that pretty damn good for a team that started off 1-6?? Must be the Coach!!
Just Wondering(AKA SS)
Come on Dude! You’re a pathetic soul for your BS this year. Still think Slam had a catastrophic ending injury? How about next level you punk a--!
Just wondering -
To justwondering
Regarding the two athletes that went to Utah State University -
Oscar Molina red-shirt his freshman year.
Chris Harris - started six games on the kick return team, injured his ankle when they played Hawaii but will be playing next season.
Fred
Just found out that Kyle Salm from San Dimas has just returned from his official visit at the University of Idaho. He has committed to the Vandals and will be signing next week. For all of you out there that are wondering about GPA's I believe he has either a 4.2 or a 4.4 GPA this year, Talk about a scholar athlete.
La Habra Parent
NOGALES! YES! MID-LATE '80s GRAD HERE! Back when all sports were really good! GLORY DAYS! How say you La Habra Parent?
2 Damien Spartans representing-
John Rabe, who is on the far left in the black shirt and Wolf Pack hat is at University of Nevada Reno on a full ride to play d end, he redshirted this year but should get playing time next year as a backup, starting in a year or 2. Ryan McMahon is on the far right in the USC gear, he walked on this year and played special teams in at least 1 game i know that for sure, he could be a special teammer with maybe a scholarship coming in a few years.
John and Ryan both had over 3.5 GPA's also
Fred,
You do such a great job of running your blogs and getting out to the SGV High Schools for media coverage. Being an Nogales Alumnus, I follow your coverage.
La Habra High is in the WDN coverage are, but Mr. Murray seems to be very busy or under-staffed.
Here's is a bit for the coverage of LHHS recruits. Just thought I could share.

Fred
Its nice to see that all of the student athletes will be recognized. It would be nice to see some GPA's. Are there any scholar athletes?.In regards to the boys pictured above,do any of them still attend or play for the schools that they signed with last year.
