Baldwin Park 1, Mountain View 0 - Alan Ibarra scored the winning goal int he 65th minute when he kicked the ball on goal and it was misplayed by Mountain View and ended up in the net for the lone tally.
Beckman 2, Glendora 1 -- Tyler Van Olphen scored the lone goal for the Tartans, who lost for only the second time to drop to 9-2

South Hills High School's boys soccer team broke from the gate slowly this season, but there's no doubt the Huskies are beginning to find their second wind.
Carlo Villegas and Austin Daugherty had first-half goals and the Huskies extended their unbeaten streak to six games with a 2-1 victory over Bishop Amat on Wednesday in a nonleague game at Covina District Field.

Eric Pantoja had an assist for South Hills, which improved to 4-2-2. Peter Careaga had the goal for the Lancers, who slipped to 11-4.
"We're doing well after losing our first two games to start the season," first-year South Hills coach Casey Stratton said. "It's a big win for us. They are a good program and are off to a very good start. This was a good test."
The Huskies wasted little time in earning a passing grade by getting a score from Villegas three minutes into the contest.
South Hills was awarded a direct kick just outside the penalty area. Pantoja then lofted a shot in front of the Lancers' goal. It was deflected to Villegas, who knocked in a header to the right of goalie Alex Ragsdale for a 1-0 lead in the third minute.
"We actually called a different set piece," Stratton said. "But (Pantoja) observes something different (in Bishop Amat's alignment).
"They had cut off what we tried to run. We just got away with something. He lofted the ball over the top, the keeper got out of his line and we were lucky to get that one."
The second goal, coming in the 10th minute, was a good, athletic play by Daugherty.
The junior midfielder gathered in a loose ball just passed midfield, dribbled down the side of the penalty area, side-stepped Ragsdale, who is the Lancers' backup goalie, and easily sent the ball into the corner of the net for a 2-0 advantage.
"We have to give our No. 2 a chance every once in a while," Bishop Amat coach Juan Rodriguez said. "Sometimes he goes in there and is nervous. He made a mistake, but it happens. It happens to the best."
Careaga got the Lancers back at 2-1 with a goal in the 21st minute on a direct free kick that evaded South Hills goalie Evan Esparza.
The Huskies, who out-shot Bishop Amat 16-7, had chances to increase their lead, but Christopher Mancilla, who was inserted in goal in the second half, made seven saves to keep the Lancers close.
Bishop Amat had two decent scoring opportunities in the second half. Joshua Tierney's attempt in the 58th minute was blocked by Esparza and Careaga's direct free kick from just outside the top of the penalty area in the 63rd minute was wide.
"We didn't finish," Rodriguez said. "We were there, knocking on the door, but we weren't finishing. That was our biggest problem."
