The Tartans trailed 23-20 early in the third quarter, but Leuzinger went on a paralyzing 18-2 run, and that was that. “The tempo was the way we wanted in the first half,” Tartans coach Mike LeDuc said. “We weren’t running our offense real well, but give credit to them for playing great defense. We tried in the third quarter to get shots we wanted, but the pressure was so great we didn’t do a good job of handling it. We knew if we left them have a run it would be real difficult to stay in the game, and they got that run, and you can’t play from behind and try to catch those guys.”
