Another way to earn your scholarship
Art Torres, the founder of PrepSportsMVP - a national recruiting network that includes over 10,000 college coaches at over 2,000 colleges and universities in every region of the USA, emailed and claimed that eight out of ten kids he works with earn scholarships. That's an extremely high number, but the website is definitely worth checking out.

Sure beats the GURU doesn't it, WHITEY & SHHS?
What a bunch of crap. If a kid (and his or her family) wants to assure themselves of a college scholarship try this.
STUDY HARD! Get A's because B's won't do. STUDY HARD! Take the PSAT and do well. STUDY HARD! Take the SAT or the ACT and do well. Maintain a 4.0 gpa. Apply early and take advantage of the many scholarship programs available.
Athletes come and go. The student who tries hard to be a top athlete and neglects his studies sets himself up for a lifetime of failure.
Face it...more kids go to school on academic scholarships than athletic.
Sure some kids will succeed with their sport. Most, however, will not.
Keep playing hard, but more importantly, STUDY HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
