WHAT IS IT WITH YOU AND TONY'S KIDS?

CALLING OUT A KID?

AND YOU'RE NOT A LOSER?

Walnut Insider said:

Night & Day (Lights Out)

I am guessing I am talking to one of Tony's kids, but that's cool. If you want to know everything about me just ask. I am over 30, married for more than 5 years, 2 kids (boy & girl), and have a professional job.

Being that you have taken a post and turned it very personal I would say you are the loser. And looking quiet pathetic in doing so.

Lights Out said:

That sound like a Yes, YES and a YES!

That makes you Uber Loser !

Okay, let's continue:

Less than 30 years
Less than 5 inches
Less than successful

Your turn. The kids lost a game you're losing in L.I.F.E.

Walnut Insider said:

Night & Day,
sounds like you have some of the kids I am talking about...sorry. You probably spent most of their youth trying to be their friends, and making them feel good about themselves and forgot how to teach them how to be young men.

It's understandable, most parents fail in that regard nowadays. Don't feel bad.

Brahma Country,
I haven't posted anything on baseball yet(that wasn't me on the other thread from a few weeks ago), I was waiting for spring sports to end. And with basketball and soccer ending looks like I can focus in on insider information on baseball next.

Walnut Insider said:

Night & Day,
say what you want about my comment, but I stand by it. And if you don't want to go with "no heart/pride", then I guess we will go with "they weren't that good to begin with". Which is what I said to be aware of because of the easy pre-season.

As for my "high school" credentials, they are fine and probably better than most here. But that was then and this is now. Which is part of my reasons for posting. Walnut used to be a school to be proud of athletically, now it's a joke for most boys sports.

And that flows into any "manhood" issues that I might have. I definitely have no issues with my manhood, once again the boys at Walnut are the ones that need to be checking their manhood. While their are a few that still carry that fire within, most don't and that's one of the reasons for Walnut's drop in athletic success.

This might be hard for dads to hear about their kids, but it's the truth. The boys at the school don't act like young men, they act like little boys and it shows on the field.

Night and Day! said:

walnut insider..."no heart/pride"...I'll bet $100.00 that you weren't much in high school or really just have some manhood issue that couldn't be understood or discussed on this blog without shutting it down. The irony of it all is your comments came on the heels of a proud Dad and loyal Walnut Fan would was looking towards a bright future and graciously acknowledging a great effort. Dude that was totally uncalled for. Hate to see what kind of seeds you bare given your over the top sense of yourself. I'll check the crime blogs and welfare rolls for you and yours. What a loser you are.

Walnut Insider said:

Tony,
I knew Walnut was in trouble going into the playoffs when they lost 8 of their last 11 games. Oh yeah and when your son lost to a girl in a 3 point competition at school. When a varsity boy can't beat a varsity girl at 3's, that's a bad sign.

I said earlier Walnut's preseason was very easy and shouldn't be taken too seriously. I also said after their early league wins that I expected them to contend for the title, which they did for a week. But when you are playing for second place and get blown out like they did it means one of two things; they have no heart/pride. Or they weren't that good to begin with. Take your pick.

But congratulations to Coach Cameron & his staff for finally getting some league wins and getting Walnut back to the playoffs.

Tony Galman said:

Congrat to Walnut, even though they did end the season teh way tehy wanted to they still had the best season in 10 years, 17-9, 4 wins in league. Not bad, not great either, but an improvement from past seasons. Good luck to them next year, for all you haters and I told you so call me and we can discuss, oops wait you are cowards to begin with, even if you block your number I cna find out who is calling. As far as next year, I think we will even do better. Good luck to the rest of SGV Teams, represent us well, since no ones gives us any respect at all. 714.351.3976

It is a shame that good programs Workman and Bonita get nearly zero pub. Workman gets some but only after much talk. Bonita has 20 or more win seasons for 6 out of the last 7 years. This year featured exactly one starter returning. Workman has the duo of Miles and Cesar now getting some pub, Fred get out to the schools and give them a feature these are good stories.

Been hearing all season, Walnut's weak schedule will catch up to them in the end. And, the END came quick. It ain't gonna be better next season either.

Walnut Insider? Is this the real one? I didn't mean anything by it....Next sport baseball, that's all. Opps....my mistake See you on the baseball field.

Walnut Insider said:

Brahma Country,
I won't even respond to that...I will just repost what you typed so we can all laugh at you

"Walnut Insider,

So you on the baseball field!"

hey B.C. I'll so you there too.

Walnut Insider,

Walnut Insider said:

I'm not gonna harp on Walnut's easy pre-season, but I will say that I was proud to see Walnut back in the playoffs. I wish we could have beaten Buena, but that's the way Walnut has played all year. Hang around until the end and try and pull out a win.

33 Juan Martinez Rocked the house tonight at the Glendora Game. Calvin was tentative all game. Koz hit the 3 with 12.4 seconds to go but Juan stole the ball (aka Beckwith ESK at El Toro in 08). The press was tough on Glendora with a 12 point lead in the 4th and turned it into a 2 point deficit, but then Koz hit the 3 and won the game. Big man Downard played above average for him, but i would love to see him hit the next level.

But great game, every Glendora Fan had their blood pressure go up in the 4th. But in Glendora fashion they show up for playoff games, Will be glad to see them play of Friday too.

Bobby Miles is a flat out BEAST!!

What a player. He can dribble, shoot, drive, play defense, rebounds on both ends very well, handles pressure and could play on anyone's team. Outstanding athlete all the way around. He's a beast!

Workman on a hold beats ND 9 out of ten times. Their coach outcoached teh ND coach by far. Handled the game and keep everyone involved. Never made himself the "man" or over powered the players or refs for that matter.

Workman is a team. That's teh best compliment I can give them. They are fearles, work hard, know their roles and once on the floor go all out! Tough to single any player out after Cezar and Bobby but #22 is a quick on ball defender and their bigs play hard as well.

One thing I noticed is Workman;s coach had players in the game that I thought had no business playing in such a tough playoff game and yet every player came in and did their role. Pretty remarkable really. Rarely a let down or a drop off.

Kept Cezar out for 4 mintutes and when he came back in just killed ND. Still nothing happens at Workman without Bobby.

If this team can stay focused and the team and players keep their heads on straight Workman will be tough for anyone to deal with.

It was an honor to see a Div 10 team atke it to a Div 1 team and hear them cry foul...and then UNCLE!

How can a school that at one time had the #1 team in the nation in football and reduce themselves to this? Workman...you "worked" them!

Last point: Haltime and National Athem singer was AWESOME!!!!!! Incredible voice!

Despite this "publication's" obvious hate of all things Bonita, props to the 22-5 Bearcats who only faced one team this season that they did not also beat; DRanch. They're tough & deserve the ranking.

But the pre-season, unranked, unknown Bearcats have played great team basketball. Good luck tonight, boys, against Corona del Mar.
