first of all i am not a bonita hater or jealous of a centerfielder. i have no agenda as I am now just a fan.voicing my opinion which is the purpose of this blog.i hope bonita has a good year, they need it and deserve it hopefully your new coaching staff can turn things around over there.i hear bonita has a new pitcher and she is not left handed maybe she will be the magic touch.because like it or not their lefthander has had 2 years to prove herself and she has not been too successful.i am not even going to comment on their centerfield anymore from what i have read there has been enough said already on that subject.goodluck bonita.

I take offence to only having four good players more like six or seven but I will agree about one thing Robert k is an idiot and knows nothing about the game of softball he's just another rec ball parent who is pissed because his kid didn't start last year. He was the benefit of a good jv pitcher but is horrible at calling pitches alta loma proved that.

Robert k, cc and tossup you three are about the dumbest trio to ever come on this blog with all the cr.p you three talk I had to see it for myself this past weekend. The center fielder for Bonita is a stud kid can play hate the dad all you want but that kid don't need him to make that team she is the team idiots and CC the only thing sad about the center fielder from Bonita is that she has to play there. If she's not there they have little chance of scoring let alone winning. Every high school usually has four good players Bonita is no different the shortstop, second basemen, center fielder and pitcher all can play with either of the four missing good luck.

you guys talk so much on here about how good you are and so much crap to Bonita! after what i saw this weekend i hope they pound you guys in your tournament! just like we did! this just proved my point your pitcher Gypsy is weak,we lit her up!

LA didnt just play without a few starters, they played with out Patterson, Latisha{2nd} Victoria{rf} and Candice {1st} these girls are also some of the biggest bats on the team! Including the pitcher, they had 4 freshman starting. Beating Rowland 9-3. Great job ladies

LA played Rowland, without quite a few starters, and the JV pitchers looked great, so LA has alot going for them! Including the only time LA and Glendora played each other was Dana and Diana's freshman year and LA beat Glendora in the Charter Oak tournament.

OMG, I watched SD play CO and Glendora today and did SD look horrible! No pitching, no hitting and no defense! The head coach has a lot of work to do with this uninspired and no heart team.

I don't know anyone from Walnut but just seeing that they have everyone coming back then they seem like the better team than Charter Oak. Charter Oak lost there #1 pitcher who was in Freds top ten pitchers in the Valley. That was Justine Tullis. Ya, I know she don't compare to Delaney but it was there # 1.

I have nothing but respect for Jerry. He came back to help the new coach deal with the wreckage. He is a players coach, all of the girls love him. He was not the problem. He is respected by the parents as someone you can count on.

as i sat here and looked at her {Pattersons} schedule on her team website from winterball, i wonder what games were you watching? and as both my daughter and my niece played her a few different times in HB i wonder where you got the idea she played and pitched vs. Minors Gold or the Renegades? seeing as how when your at that tournament {friendlies} your broken up in brackets. with my daughters team being in her same bracket twice niether none of those teams were in it. same goes for when my niece was in another HB tournament, i was lucky enough to watch them play as well, they were in her same bracket and again niether one of those teams were in it?.....so im wondering what games did you watch?

also in the travelball world she is very well known for her pitching as well as her very good glove and stick! ive seen her throw bullets out there.what team is it your daughter plays for that allows you to watch Patterson so closely to know who shes playing against? and if you were in our bracket you would for sure know those teams werent in them.

I coached knowing that I was not going to see my daughter play, me coaching JV, her on Varsity. My daughter was almost exactly six months to the day back fron major ACL and meniscus surgery. I was just tremendously proud of her comming back. Playing time has nothing to do with my issue with last years staff, it was the way that the girls were treated. Telling high school girls they are stupid is not very motivating. I will say this much, I guarantee you that I will have more of my girls from last years Co-League Champions willing to line up behind me going to battle than last years staff would have behind them. They would have one, or she would be grounded

Whoever you are, you are the smartest person on this planet, it was the most obvious, glaring problem last year! It was talked about by the players, parents,coaches and FACULTY. She will do better this year under the new coaching staff. At least we know where we stand with the new staff, last years coaches would do exactly the opposite of what they said they would do. The players did not respect them. Last year "got it wrong"

hey sdfan, small correction to your senior report.Yes, bonita HAD 5 seniors, yes 1 quit. why you ask? well, she quit last year when she got left on JV, decided to give it a try this year and decided too much work and interfered with her social life. so no, before anyone says anything, had nothing to do with team, new coach, etc. ok, that leaves 4 seniors, 2 were not there saturday (basketball, college entrance exams) and out of the 2 that were, yes, one got hurt, so that left only 1 senior playing saturday..

I want to here about St. Lucy's and Diamond Ranch I know the ranch brings back some key players, whats the word on Lucy's freshmen from a year ago and the new ones that came in.

Top five look okay but Charter Oak really don't have any pitching. I would move Walnut to 6 and acually move CO out of there.

So what are you blogging about? Oh she plays with Cal Lite 18U Gold, just incase you want to check. Get your head out of the clouds and check for yourself.

P.S. Her travelball team (Cal Lite 18UG) played MTSAC, Patterson pitched and Cal Lite won, so again I ask what are you talking about????

I did a little homework for you and scouted this past weekend for ya. Although only scrimmages They did show some talent and promise

Top Ten:

Los Altos
Glendora You pick toss up
San Dimas
Bishop Amat you pick toss up

Everyone else:
Scouted Upland on friday Bonita gave them all they could handle although upland won 4-3 it was a good nine inning scrimmage a good showing for Bonita.

South hills looked decent against San Dimas and Northview on Saturday.

Northview held their own against Southhills and Bonita suprisingly without Fraijo who we know is now gone. on saturday.

San Dimas and Bonita played not sure who won I believe San Dimas 1-0 but not sure.
both looked good.

St Lucy's, Diamond Bar, Walnut and Charter Oak will all have to score a lot of runs to win possible.

As many of you know, a drive by is when some idiot makes a stupid statement, and then uses some cute and clever name in a comment. However, they will never use that same name twice. In this way, the idiot, believes that he can somehow be secretive or anonymous.

Yet, the funny part is that, sometimes you know who it is that’s doing the blogging, because often, these guys will have the same writing style when they post.

In other instances, they will post a stupid comment at around the same time that they posted something else on another thread. Too funny !!

I suppose that their attempt at anonymity, doesn’t always work for them.

Look Fred, if you read this blogg long enough like I do, you get a sense that there are only a handful of these guys out there who are complete imbeciles, so, for what it’s worth, don’t let them get you down when they call you lazy, or when they question you’re journalistic integrity, because to tell you the truth, these dummies wouldn’t be on this blog, each and every day, if they didn’t like the work you do!

Just remember that.

THE BOTTOM 8 ALL LOST KEY PLAYERS, I KNOW TOP 2 DID AS WELL, BUT THE TRUTH IS THEY ARE STILL STRONGER THEN THE REST, THEYRE LEAD BY PATTERSON AND WALDUSKY, THAT ALONE PUTS THEM IN THE TOP 2. AMAT STILL HAS NO PITCHING AND LOST WAY TO MANY PLAYERS, I SEE THEM SLIPPING BY THE MIDDLE OF THE SEASON. SAME GOES WITH CHARTER OAK THEY LOST 5 STARTERS AND THIER DH, BESIDES THAT STILL NO PITCHING! LETS HOPE ITS A GREAT SEASON FOR ALL

Like i said in one of your other threads, ive seen Patterson play this past winter! She was on fire! Now i know high school ball is alot different then travel ball{travel ball being 10x's stronger}, and i understand you have to rate each "high school" but Fred if you wouldve seen her there would be no doubt! We were up north at a tournament, and i seen her holding the team 18u Gold National Champs hitless! she was beating them 2-0 in the last inning.! until two of her infielders "SGV players" had multiple errors causing them to lose 3-2! One of whom was the catcher from Diamond Ranch,she was playing 3rd,the other being Ariel Whiteman of Bishop Amat playing 1st base All her hard work shutting down the National Champs it was awesome to see this kid who is from our SGV going out there and just kicking butt!!! I really feel LA should be ranked #1.

p.s. before anyone says anything i am not a parent from LA, but I am a proud SGV parent who is tired of people like Ayala dad saying these kids are weak! also ive seen Patterson pitch since 12u,my daughters only played with her once and against her many times and each time this kid truely gives it her all!!!

Yes, you do have your work cut out for you this year with softball. Glendora and Los Altos are a toss up, I think it will depend on the defense and the bat's for LA as far as the pitching LA's Diana-Lynn is as you put it the "Reinging San Gabriel Valley Tribune Player of the Year" and knowing her that's not something she talks about, but like I said knowing her that's not something she will let anyone just take away from her she will work her butt off even more to show everybody why she deserve's the honor, seeing both Diana and Dana pitch since there high school career's started and it's been great, but my money will be on LA's girl's but LA is gonna have to play hard every game cause there is always someone ready to knock you off the top!

move san dimas to 3 and bishop amat to 4 and you have it about right

I was at there on saturday and Diana did pitch. She only pitched 4 innings as well as Bishop's pitcher. Both teams played a lot of there bench players. No one should take to much from the scrimmage.

LA had a scrimmage against Bishop Amat this weekend and lost 1-0. Bishop Amat fan's don't get excited, from what I was told LA didn't pitch Diana and played most of the game with the second string.
