I don’t usually reply to articles but I will in this case. Helpful post. Exactly where did you got all the info from? Anyway thank you for this excellent article! Yours trully, Winter.

I normally dont take the time to write a comment, but it is difficult to find good information on this subject today. You did a lovely job in this post and I may just go read your other blog posts now. Keep writing!

ALUMNI08, YOUR OPINION IS TAKEN, NO MATTER HOW WRONG IT IS. B.P. SHOULD'VE WON THAT GAME 3-0 AT LEAST. THEY CLEARLY DOMINATED THAT GAME. DONT GET ME WRONG, MT VIEW IS A REAL GOOD TEAM. ON THE SAME NOTE, S.V. GAVE B.P. ALL THEY COULD HANDLE. PROBABLY THE ONLY TEAM THAT COULDVE BEAT B.P. ALL YEAR. S.V IS A REALLY GOOD TEAM. AND WITH ALL THAT SAID, GOODLUCK TO MT VIEW, ROSEMEAD, AND S.V TOMORROW. HOPE WERE ALL IN THE SEMI'S.....

GO BRAVES !!!!

A bit late. Just got back from trip. Saw Los Altos at Cathedral City. Wow. What a plant. Huge. Not very old. 3300 students. Former La Puente principal has the job there. Says we will hear a lot from them now. Only obvious flaw. Football-soccer stadium field worn out. Sand base with what could only be called sand traps in front of one goal. CC scored early. Bigger, faster than LA, who played tough the whole game and tied it 1-1 late. Scoreless through two OT periods with CC winning 4-3 on kicks at the end. CC has one player who will give everyone fits. Tall, husky, with great footwork, her throw ins from the side lines go well over half the field and usually right in front of the goal, offering multiple opportunities for easy scores, successfully thwarted all but once by great Los Altos defense. Incidentally, several of the Low Desert and far Eastern prep campuses are phenominal in size and quality. Sports plants appear to be tops in every way. Once small and worn Beaumont HS is anything but now. Fred is right when he says power is shifting East. Soon.

I have seen everyone now and am convinced Baldwin Park, Mountain View, Sierra Vista and Rosemead are the top four teams in that order. I was surprised how much talent Bishop Amat had, but they're wound too tight, resulting in their playoff loss to La Puente. Los Altos and Wilson are right there, but not consistent enough. Look, BP beat Mountain View and Sierra Vista, so they're undoubtedly the area's best team. The only team I really don't know much about is Damien. They went second round in Division II, and obviously play in a very tough league.

Go Sierra Vista !

Im rooting for the Dons in here big time, because they never get any love in this blogg.

These guys are perhaps the biggest surprise out there and they richly deserve our support.

Go get em Dons !!
