its because there is a long jump pit for track on both sides of the sidelines... you know where the sand is... and there is like a 3 inch cement border that surrounds the sand... and the sideline is close to it..

LA Baptist complained about it to the refs... which is a first...saying that it was dangerous...

but it doesnt make sense... they have been playing there for years and years...

glad to know they let them play there... last friday playing on the smaller JV field affected the team.. since they werent used to it...

they should come out with a easy win once again tomorrow..

go vikings...

I don't understand. What makes that field unsafe?

Obviously, I’m not an insider, or even privy to what going on over there, but when I saw the home game the other day, the field looked ok to me.

After all, if you've been playing soccer on that field all year long, then what’s the big deal?

What happened all of a sudden?

Just wondering that’s all

If it's at Arroyo we welcome Mt View our league rivals. We are behind you and Rosemead. We hope you guys meet in the final, but it doesn't matter to us which one of you wins it. We hope you guys support us next year when we sweep league and CIF without any major problems.

B.P. has the team to make it to the finals, but they are going up against a tough team. We had played Animo before back in 2006 when i was on the B.P. soccer team. We lost. I want to wish the boys the best of luck and get a win tomorrow!!

FYI: The Mountain View game is tentative, CIF officials are ruling on their stadium field this afternoon, if they rule it unsafe again, they will play at Arroyo High instead.

Animo Leadership and Baldwin Park had a game back in 2006. I was on the team, unfortunately we lost in double overtime. But That year, the soccer team became what it is today. We won the League championship for the first time in many years and went to further then we had in CIF. GO Braves!!!!

Just call Zim at the school Bravetown to verify they usually like to play night games.

I won't know the answers to those questions until Monday. I would be really upset if I was Mountain View, officials have allowed them to play on the field forever, and all of a sudden they say no in the quarterfinals and force them to a JV field. That's not right. If that JV field wasn't available, they would have had to play at a neutral field the next day.

do you know if mountain view is gonna be able to play in their stadium or will they have to play in the small JV field again instead..

FRED,CAN YOU CONFIRM THAT B.P.'S GAME WILL BE AT 3 AND NOT 4 OR 5?

GO BRAVES !!!!
