I just wanted to let you know about my latest entry on Prep Stars: Where are you now?
Today, I write about former Glendora High School baseball star Wes Roemer, who is dealing with the tragedy that cost the life of Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart in a crash earlier this week. Courtney Stewart, who also died in the crash, was a friend of Roemer’s at Cal State Fullerton and the two stayed in contact. Jon Wilhite, the lone survivor, was Roemer’s catcher for the Titans. Both of them were on his mind when he opened the season by tossing five-shutout innings for the Visalia Rawhide in a 5-3 victory at Lake Elsinore on Friday.
