I agree Britney Rodriguez is a stud and has done a great job behind the plate as well. This girl has been a great asset to the South Hills team and will be fun to watch over the next four years!!!
Way to go Brit!

Every high school hitter would have Josh Leyland stats if there coach did the same thing...ALTER THE STATS
If it is a fielders choice or an error, then that counts as an 0-1. I have seen games of Josh and would leave saying 1-4, but on Maxpreps it will 2 EVEN 3-4. The homeruns you have to give him obviously but come on Reagan,how far does this go.He already has a college, so why still alter stats.Josh is a great kid and deserves alot of credit but not like that.
Let go aints

Co-athletes of the week should go to Paul Paez and Brady Zuniga. Paez struck out 12 against a good hitting Orange Lutheran team. He threw a complete game 3 hitter. Zuniga started off the tournament for the Lancers with a complete game 4 hitter striking out 8. Both pitchers beat teams from the powerful Division 1 Trinity League.

Yumi for sure, her stats are amazing and don't forget Ariel Shore - she just passed 100 stolen bases in her high school career with a personal best of 7 in a single game.

Taylor Herrera scored a double in the 100m and 200m coming in 3rd in both events against the toughest competition of the week. Plus I think he eat Sheldon Price's time as well. In track you run across Divisions, notmany athletes did that.
Any nominated athlete is distinction enough, hope everyone appreciates that. Fred it's goi g to be tough!

Fred;
Give the smaller schools some consideration also!
Rauley Zargosa, has been terroring up the track & field events in the long jump,triple jump,4x100 relays. He has yet to lose, and AZUSA'S track team is good and are undefeated.
Zarogosa, has a chance to go to Fresno State. They have been scouting him.
Yes this is the same athlete who had 4 interceptions in a C.I.F football game.
