Glendora fundraiser set to honor Brandon Villalobos, and create a scholarship in his name
I received a heavy-hearted email this morning about a fundraiser for Brandon Villalobos, the 23-year-old former Glendora High School baseball player who died in an off-road accident last weekend. Here's the info: "We have decided to make the Freshman Glendora vs. Damien Game our fundraiser for a scholarship in Brandon's Name. The services for Brandon will be held this Saturday (Glenkirk Presbyterian Church at 2 p.m.) and our game is scheduled for Thursday April 23, at 7 p.m. at Henderson Field. All of the proceeds from the snack bar will be donated and we are actively pursuing other donors. We are hoping that this kind of thing will help to heal the pain of Brandon's passing. He was a bright light in this world and it would be nice to keep the light shining.
