Softball: Los Altos-South Hills Got Next

Glendora finally played, and then won, beating Diamond Bar 2-0 on Tuesday to open the Sierrra League. Bishop Amat also had a notable victory, beating El Modena 7-1, droping the ElMod's to 12-7. San Dimas cruised in five innings to defeated Ganesha, 14-2, but the game I am intrigued about today is Los Altos at South Hills at 3:15 p.m., What do we do with the Huskies if they knock off Bonita and Los Altos in the same week? I've said it before, Los Altos isn't a team that knocks the ball around the park against anyone, if the Huskies push a few runs across, this could get interesting ...

I happen to see Bonita and South Hills on Saturday. Both teams looked pretty good. Souhth Hills can hit the ball well, but Bonita's defence let the pitcher down in the first game. The second game was slug fest. Now is DL is as good as everyone says she is and hits her spots, she should be able to quite the SH bats. I figure Good Pitching and Defence will be the key to victory for LA. This will be a good game to watch today.

I can see sh hitting the ball...but not the way they hit off Bonita's pitcher..hey they had a bad day and that happens to the best of them..I just don't see them getting consecutive hits off DL..I tip my hat to sh for beating bonita and tying the other..Bonita has a great team..And I'm sure they will learn from this..and get better.. Good luck to both SH and LA..

And by the way BA beat a good El Mondena team..and congrats to Glendora and a big win against DB..I'm telling you Waldk's going to be tough this year..
