Hall of Fame All-Star football game on June 26 at Bassett HS: The Rosters are finally here!

hey everyone
this is my first time ever posting on here but i always went on here the past two years to see reviews about me as a player
but being a player on the 08 damien football team its understandable to not have been chosen to play. i see my name is on a damien list above of questionables, but we just didn't have the season to be able to have an individual breakout season. Yes, it would have been great to play or have some representatives of my school in the all-star game, but that just goes to show this years team has to work harder and put themselves on the map.

Amat has no trouble filling their place and they are down the block...stop whining.

Sumler will play @ PCC while he works on his academics ,at least that is what I have heard . If he had the grades there is NO DOUBT he would have been D1.

best of luck to both teams . For MOST of these young men this will be the final time they suit up , so make the most of it .For those of you out there who have NOT seen Sumler , go out & see him . He is one to watch ...

DRanch...are you sure about Bonilla. I think the world of him as a player. Walker got himself one heck of a great kid.

I've been pumping this kid up for months and from what I heard he had other offers but held out for a Div 1 spot....like i said the kid has an incredible motor and will only get bigger with time. Great instincts for the ball.

DRanch...how many players did the DR team finally end up sending to the next level..and how does the team look for next year?

Let's see, Bryan Bonilla just committed to New Mexico State Uni. I am surprised that X-Man (Xavier-Molina Williams) given his ride to Colgate, decided to play. The rest of those guys have headed off to there prospective schools.

Fred are practices closed to the public? If not when and where are they held?

What an honor and privilege to be on this roster! AZUSA is very proud of you, and it's going to be great to watch one last High school game for the season of 2008.

To be in class with some great schools whom reprsent the SGV in winning C.I.F football championships is AWESOME! I see their are three players from the MONTVIEW LEAGUE who are also playing, that is something for all the Montview League players and fans to be proud of!

Have a great game and have fun most of all! Also congratulations on winning the Athlete of the Year for AZUSA!

Thought I'd see at least a couple of WC players on the roster. Who made this list the Guru??? Lets see, Albert Cid, Alonzo Nevarez, Jabril Pearson, Thomas Flores, any one of these kids is worthy of that roster.

How about Ethan Betance, Jason Reyes, Jake Salter, Chase Sippel has Harvard so I understand, Jake Veith, Eric Bento, Taylor Herrera has SLO so I understand, Briton Williams at least! But no Damien player? Hey there is one from Salesian! ...again.

Are the players not being asked or not accepting their invitations? I know a quite a few players thought they could sign or walk on and this is a great opportunity to at least face tougher competition and impresss people.

How many of the guys who signed to play college ball are actually playing in this game? Are they not playing All-Star games at all because of commitments, or are they playing in the Fiesta game. BA, DR, and Muir don't even have their best players on these rosters.

No Damien players? What time are the practices? Only two players from Diamond Ranch with as many talented seniors as they had? Or are they playing in the IE All Star Game? BTW when is that game, anyone know? Very surprised Gaise is playing, isn't he DIV 1 signed and delivered?And finally no Chris Bowden, I thought for sure i'd see this kid at LB one more time?

DR's Williams is Colgate bound right? Kid is a beast! Glad to see Pomona represented this year, their coaches have done a great job, props to them. CO's William and Perri, sounds like a Law firm but more deadly, are these boys continuing their playing days somewhere? Allen is baseball signed right?
