The United States' win over the world's top-ranked Spaniards ended their 35-game unbeaten streak since winning the European Championships in 2008. Spain's world-record unbeaten streak had equaled Brazil's 35-game win streak set between 1993-95. Even bigger, the United States snapped Spain's 15-game winning streak, another world record, launching the U.S. into Sunday's championship against Brazil. Spain hadn't been beaten since a loss to Romania in November 2006. Is this the biggest win in U.S. history? Not quite, nothing will ever touch the United States' shocking 1950 victory over England in the World Cup. Taken into account that MLS is very far away from other leagues such as NFL, NHL or NBA we could say that this is equivalent to Spain beating the US in Hockey, Football or Baseball.
