With the Lakers title wrapped up, I can't wait for Mannywood and the Dodgers to do the same

The L.A. Times' Bill Plaschke thinks Manny Ramirez's suspension should keep him out of his minor league assignment with Albuquerque. TJ Simers admits that he can't stay mad at him. What's all the fuss, it's like serving a sentence then finishing the rest of your time at a halfway house before your official release. It's not the bigs so it's not a big deal. People like Plaschke think the Dodgers should trade him away, but the people who pay money to go to Dodgers games and sit in front of their television and cheer the Dodgers want him to stay, and can't wait to welcome him back. Plaschke even pleaded with the Lakers to trade Kobe two years ago. That's why you don't listen to sportswriters, you listen to the beating heart of loyal fans, like the one I saw wearing a shirt that read, "Stand by your Manny."

I have to admit that I was disappointed when I heard Manny was juicing and was suspended. Now, the fuss has begun. Should he, or shouldn't he?
It's reached a point that it no longer matters if he is juiced or not. I don't like the cheating aspect believe me. Cheating is cheating and should be dealt with, but if you are to suspend him or shoot him, then MLB should disclose all the rest who tested positive and are still playing and do the same. Of course MBL will not, so what's the point.
Tejada, JC Romero, ARod, and many more have tested positive, yet still play.
You look at ARod's body and you have to wonder and he is paid a fortune and has never led a team to the WS.
Rose gambled and was crucified.
If MLB wants to stop this BS, then kick the player out baseball for cheating, and break his contract for doing so. Simple and effective. Of course this will not happen. Simply too much money involved on both sides.
If I was found guilty of illegal drugs at work, I would be fired plain and simple. Forget about the Manny thing and move on.

Lance R.,

Not sure if Martin left the juice, instead I think the testosterone is being used up by his girlfriend as oppossed to opossing pitchers. And to be honest with you, I don't know too many guys who would not be distracted by her!

I am still not convinced and I do not see why fans continue to jump on the Manny Wagon. Manny lied, cheated and almost blew a season for the Dodgers and their fans with this cancerous attitude he takes to the teams he plays for. I as a Dodger fan and season ticket holder am not sure we are out of the woods with Manny yet. Do not be surprised if he screws up along the way this season. The ballclub is playing very well with Pierre in Left and who knows if Manny can come back and restore the hitting power he had with steroids. If Manny fails and it is noticeable that he longer is the player he once was with the enhancers the Dodger need to have a quick hook and bench him in favor of Pierre. Should Manny regain form then I feel sitting Pierre is a waste and trade to get some more pitching can be a deal the Dodger look at. I will not support Manny until he can prove me wrong. I will be one of the boo birds when Manny gets back to Chavez Revine as he is announced. On the Russell Martin front , one HR only? sounds like he left the juice behind from last year. Ausmus is a veteran but The Dodger better start looking to replace Martin for next year and get a solid hitting Catcher with power.
