Fire Watch: Diamond Ranch stays home, Azusa-Garey on canceled; Pomona-Keppel postponed; stay tuned

5:30 p.m. Diamond Ranch coach Roddy Layton said Friday’s game against Muir has been moved to Ganesha high school. All games in Pasadena were moved or canceled because of the poor air quality.

11:16 a.m. — The Pomona-Keppel game scheduled for Friday at Ganesha has been postponed and will be replayed Sept. 17 at Ganesha. Keppel did not have enough practice time because of the fires.

11:54 a.m. — Bonita coach Eric Podley is hopeful they will play at home Friday against Westview. He said if the air quality is “moderate,” which it currently is, they will play.

5:30 p.m. — The Garey-Azusa game has been cancelled according to CIF. The schools are hopeful they can play on Saturday at Ganesha. We will continue to follow.

2:32 p.m: Gabrielino intends to play its home game tomorrow against La Puente. If the air quality worsens, they will reschedule it for Saturday at La Puente.
