It is up to CIF . If approved I don;t think he will be playing immediately . Has to learn the system and earn the right. I am sure no promises were made as to instant starting position. My take but I don't think anytime soon especially not Friday.

WG IS practicing with the team.

He needs to be 'cleared' by CIF to play on the varsity level.

If and when the paperwork is submitted it will be up to CIF to approve WG playing for Amat varsity this season.

Fellas, it isn't God that is going to judge WG. His problem is the demi-gods at the CIF Office. Should be interesting to see what unfolds and compare it to the Canada brother’s situation. If the Glendora HS administrators don’t challenge the transfer, will the CIF just rubber-stamp the approval? Seems to be their "MO". Because, whether or not the separation was mutual and if Glendora is glad for him to be gone, the transfer appears to be 100% athletically motivated so per the CIF rules he should be sitting out the upcoming baseball season and his senior year for football. Can’t wait to see how the CIF hypocrites handle this one.

The blue book allows for one free transfer during your freshman year or the summer between your freshman and sophomore year. Once you step on campus at a school as a sophomore or older your one free transfer option is no longer available. Unless Wallace physically changed address with his entire family or gets a hardship waiver he will sit out one calendar year of varsity sports.
