Glendora’s football team is honoring the 20th anniversary of its 1989 CIF-Southern Section Division IV co-championship team during its homecoming game against El Dorado on Friday at Citrus College. Late Tartans coach Dean Karnoski will be honored along with several members of the 1989 championship team during an afternoon parade in downtown Glendora, and later during festivities at the game. There will also be a special tribute for 1989 starting tight end/defensive end and captain Brad Baiotto, who will not be able to attend. Baiotto is a First Sgt. with the U.S. Marines in Ferrah, Afghanistan. The Tartans shared the 1989 title with Ramona, a game that finished in a 28-28 tie.
