About 7 weeks ago or so didn't someone say that Damien would be the sleeper in the Sierra League race and that DB should circle the Chino game? Looks like West Covina, South Hills, and Diamond Ranch are starting to hit their strides as league play starts to wind down. Charter Oak looks like they could be sportin' some more jewelry but no State game. Amat has to be the biggest story of the season so far. I'm startin' to feel some love for the Lancers. Keep it rollin' boys. It would be great to see a local team in that State Championship.

DB 34 Chino 17.....it was tied at 17 after a wild first half, but the Brahmas saw it through tonight to secure the victory and avoid the 0-10 stigma.....what to go Brahmas, you made us all just that more proud of how you deal with the adversity you face week in and week out... you all played with alotta heart tonight---so did the Cowboys, lots of emotion....thank god the battle for next years "first round draft choice" is over! They won :)

Officiating was so lopsided you can't help wonder if these zebras had any kids or relatives on the Loyola sidelines. 1 TD catch called incomplete after Amat receiver had control and crossed the end zone. 2 blatant pass interference non calls and face masking by Loyola that was not flagged. The Zebras also spotted the ball in favor of Loyola. On one play a Loyola ball carrier was clearly stuffed at the line of scrimmage and dragged 5 yards back for an apparent loss, but the Refs marked it as 5 yards gained. HUH? I think these Zebras should be investigated, I know it is only a frosh game, but it was too obvious that they were biased in favor of Loyola.

Fred anyone check to make sure those "we don't work over time" officials don't work the game ???

Last thing we need is two 9-0-1 teams complaining about who got screwed !!!

Here is DB's game plan for tonights game. Stack the box on defense. Dare Chino to throw the ball. Offensively just do what you have been doing all season long. Throw it and throw it often. They are going to try to cover your slot guys with slow linebackers. They should be more open than Denny's. Good luck Brahamas we're in the SGV are pulling for you.
