Oh Miguel, are you serious? Muir? Really?

There is a reason Star-News prep editor Miguel Melendez has five or six losses every week, and is just 119-62 on the season picking high school games. He took Muir over Charter Oak in the first round, which is probably the silliest prediction ever, even for homers like us. He’s like that old LA Times handicapper Curtis Crayon, who couldn’t pick a thing. Take a lot at his picks. He even has San Gabriel knocking off West Covina on the road. Listen, if Muir and San Gabriel meet in the second round, I’m buying Miguel’s meals from now until Christmas.
