Lots of girls in this area have full ride offers for volleyball? Like who? Ashley is a polished player with a lot of training but is not a very good athlete. Good athlete's are what colleges want. That is why she has not been offered anything. There is no decision to be made if you have no offers. The very best juniors are already committed. Jazman is the only junior in this area to get and accept a full volleyball scholorship to a solid school.

Lots of these girls have full rides and or offers on the table but just haven't accepted one yet. Ashley is a junior and a great athlete and yes, these players are voted by CIF OFFICIALS and coaches and obviously they know more than you. Ashley will have many offers come her way and doesn't need to make a decision until March of next year. When talking about "bad attitude" take a look at who you're supporting.

La Pierrie who will be named Tribune Player of the Year was not voted captain of her own team and the coaches did not vote her league MVP because of how selfish she is. As they say, it was all about her.

Who selects these players? Some are very deserving and some have no business being selected. Does the coach that pushes the hardest get more players on CIF? Who selects these players? I would like to know their names so I can contact them.

Again, some of the players selected are not the best players in the area. The way to find the best players is to see if they were offered full ride scholorships. The only athlete offered a scholarship is Jasman Russell at Los Altos (Wake Forest). Allie LaPierre is a walk on and has (NO SCHOLRSHIP) and Ashley Maxfeldt has no offers at all because she is soo slow.

I would give Jasman Russell player of the year beacause she has a full ride schlorship to a great university, was her teams MVP and her team won CIF. How can you argue that?
