well I guess you are right 8-10 sounds more like it. Lets see what happens though. The game is at Bonita. The bad thing is Bonita plays Los Altos as a tune up before the DR game. DR plays a tough Alemany or Windward as a tune up game. Could give them even more of an edge having to play an intense matchup.

by 20 WOW if that's not a motivating factor then I don't know what is? I was thinking more like 8-10 but man 20 that's a lack of all respect of any kind.
well DR lost so both teams will not be undefeated. DR will beat bonita by 20+. The records are similar but look at the competition. Yes Bonita has some quality wins vs valley christian, south hills, st lucy's and maybe Wilson (have not seen them) but that is four of the 14 wins, for the most part they have played no one. They will not be able to match the athletism of DR, unfortunately! Next year will be bonita's turn as they will be one year older and most of DR will be gone to graduation.
They question is can Bonita beat DR?
The answer is yes they have a shooters chance but they will also have to try and match the speed and physical play in the middle. I bet Coach B has a plan of all plans he knows he has a young athletic team and he probably wants to go into there first game as confident as his opponent no doubt Bonita is the team of the future but DR is the team of the present. Fred Girls basketball is usually a boring subject but this year you have a good storyline and as usual I have to help you along the way.
Not Avoidance...well maybe a little...
I think the Lady Bearcats are playing it smart, building confidence and are looking forward to the HUGE challenge. I mean why get demoralized with a loss to a league foe early on? Yes I think DR would win now and more than likely when they do play but it's a smart move to build the confidence of these young ladies and hopefully some tough matches along the way will get them ready. Almost no one is giving them a shot against DR (yes this includes me) but if you hear it long enough one of two things are going to happen, you will believe the hype and loose or you will be TIRED of hearing all the hype and SICK of people telling you "you can't" or maybe just Sick & Tired of it and step-up and get big win on emotions and all that hard work you're putting in....
Good luck Lady Bearcats.
Avoidance,
You need to get out more to watch games. The Tourneys that Bonita has won have been pretty soft competition. DR has played (and beaten)5 teams ranked in their division, including the top ranked team in Division 1A. Remember it's quality, not quantity.
Goes both ways, however both will most likely be undefeated when they meat so it should be an intense matchup.
looks like bonita is staying away from DR in preseason?
