Boys Soccer Top Ten: Baldwin Park defends top spot with win over Mountain View, 2-0

1. Baldwin Park (10-0-2) – With a 2-0 victory over defending divisional champion Mountain View, the Braves cemented their No. 1 status.
2. Los Altos (7-2-3) – Nothing changed since last week, faces Wilson today.
3. Rosemead (7-1-4) – Great showing in the Monrovia tournament, will face Mountain View this afternoon.
4. Glendora (9-3-3) – Great start, now lets see what happens in the Sierra. They open at Damien on Wednesday.
5. La Puente (5-2-3) – After somewhat of a slow start, the Warriors are back after big wins over Duarte and Sierra Vista, the Montview favorites.
6. Sierra Vista (7-4) – Already 1-1 in Montview after a 3-0 loss to Duarte.
7. Wilson (8-4) – Won the Ontario tournament with a 3-2 win over Whittier Christian, beat Bishop Amat last week.
8. Mountain View – (4-4-1) – The 2-0 loss to Baldwin Park is a wake-up call. Maybe they’re not as strong as last year.
9. Duarte (7-2-2) – The area’s biggest surprise beat Sierra Vista but lost to La Puente. Still a great start.
10. Rowland (5-2-2) – Had three game win streak snapped with a 3-2 loss to Rosemead.
