As expected, the Bishop Amat High School girls soccer team earn the top seed in Division 4 when the CIF-Southern Section girls soccer pairings were released on Monday. The undefeated Lancers (24-0-2), with 106 goals and 21 shutouts, will open the first round of the playoffs at home against Pacific View’s third-place finisher Adolfo Camarillo (7-8-4). All wild card games are Wednesday with the first round on Friday. All games start at 3 p.m.

Los Altos (22-1-2) tied Bishop Amat 0-0 early in the season and grabbed the No. 3 seed in Division 4, meaning the only way the Miramonte League champs could meet Bishop Amat again is in the championship.
But first things first, Los Altos opens at home against San Andreas third-place entry San Bernardino (5-12-4).
Bonita (11-6-3), which finished second to Los Altos in the Miramonte, is on the road against Los Padres runner-up (18-5-3).
Charter Oak (18-5) struggled to a third-place finish in the Miramonte despite an impressive overall record. But the Chargers have a tough opener, at Mojave River second-place Serrano (19-4-3).
San Antonio League champ Walnut (19-3-2), hoping to recapture the magic that helped it win three consecutive titles from 2003-05, opens the first round of the Division 2 playoffs against Foothill League third-place finisher Valencia (14-5-2).
Also in Division 2, San Antonio runner-up South Hills (11-8-1) is on the road at Burbank (14-4-1) while Nogales (5-17) has a wild-card Wednesday at home against Villa Park (17-6-2), with the winner facing Citrus Belt champ Redlands East Valley (23-4) in the first round.
Glendora (11-10-3) finished second in the Sierra League and draws a tough first-round assignment, at Foothill runner-up Hart, (16-6-3).
Injury-riddled St. Lucy’s (12-10-2) will be at Golden League champion Lancaster (13-7-2), not bad considered the Regents finished third in the Sierra League.
After being ranked No. 1 for more than a month in Division 7, it was somewhat of a surprise that Sierra Vista (20-3) was the No. 2 seed in the Division behind CAMS (13-2), though the Dons aren’t complaining with a bye to the second round.
Sierra Vista will face the winner of Friday’s first-round game between El Monte (10-5-3) and St. Matthias (6-4-1) in the second round on Feb. 24
Mission Valley League champ Arroyo (13-4-2) is home in the first round of the Division 7 playoffs against Tarbut V Torah (5-3-3) while MVL second-place South El Monte (11-4-4) is home against St. Anthony (5-7-2).
In other Division 7 first-round games, Gladstone (7-10-3) is at Animo Leadership (18-7-1) and La Puente (5-11-3) is at Condor League champ Cate (9-4).
