San Dimas Tourney: Glendora's Carly Argyle throws no-hitter; Charter Oak biggest surprise
Friday's Semifinals
Bonita vs. Glendora, 3:15 p.m.
Charter Oak vs. Etiwanda, 5:15 p.m.

Above: The early reports on Tartans junior Carly Argyle is that she's very, very impressive.
Recap: Forget about the Glendora rebuilding nonsense, just watched junior Carly Argyle throw a no-hitter, needing only five strikeouts to do it, beating Los Altos 1-0. The Conqs played well too, giving up just two hits, a single and triple that scored a run in the fourth, that was it. Bonita slammed West Covina in six and if Charter Oak continue's to pitch and play defense, they will be a factor in the Miramonte. So here are the predictions, Bonita's got the swag going, centerfielder Breeana Sandoval is off to a monster start, and with Glendora beating Bonita in last year's tournament, you have to like the 'Cats chances in the rematch. Etiwanda probably beats Charter Oak, but curious to know how the Chargers compete. In the final, sticking with Bonita, they're still out to prove a point.

John Cochtoasten
Dude you make a bold prediction and went all in sorry it didn't work. Now where I come from 8-0 is a good old fashion a$$ whooping!!!!!!!!!!!!!
shady umpiring huh!-----------afraid not. As far as mocking you that was easy, did I say easy? I meant TO EASY a little advice before you give yourself a hearty tack old timer make sure you have the nuts when you go all in so go take your medicine and go night night ala Jim Rome!!!!!!!!
LOL, Maybe the mighty Lady Bulldogs got beat by a hot team (Bonita) and some shady umpiring but I do have faith that these girls, led by coaching legend, Dan Woodward will get the ship going in the right direction.
As for mocking me....... if you would like, we can handle this like they used to back in my day.
updater,
if your not stalking her then get a life! LOL! really! then I was wrong your a she not a he! No worries about my kid ok believe me my kid gets plenty of ink and it's all good!! I thought your jealousy with DLP ended once she graduated guess not! what your kid aint doing as well so you don't give updates on your own or are there injuries involved or maybe no playing time!
Looks like shore is doing very well batting a whopping 300 those are great numbers for freshman. And dana Waldusky is 3-7 her freshman year, just struggling a little bit, give her some more time and she'll get it done on the next level. Former BA Amy the pitcher is 0-4 but not much pitching time, she'll get in a groove and needs some run support. Other then that they are representing SGv very well.

Looks like A.Shore is having a good freshmen season and probably the best from what I can see of area players. What school does Waldusky go to I would like to see her numbers, if thats ok with you enough?
Relax, Please relax. I commented about alot of past and present players..and yes on other blogs here as well..trust me nobody is stalking here..lol..your too funny!!lol..And if no one is talking about your kid, be happy about that at least!!lol..
ENOUGH SAID AND MOVE ON,
I don't believe the updates about DLP are done by any family members. So don't start on them about the updates he is a stalker that can't leave her alone
Move on / enough-- just letting people know about some past players from SGV, stop hating..your starting to sound like a baby..lol..and if you can see the whole comment I wrote down it did include HS as well..wow your kid must not be that good, I'm sorry to here that!!lol..
Updater (aka the Pattersons),
Look, ur daughter or sister is a really good player. We all know that. Just move on already.
if i read one more comment about "DL" on these blogs i'm gonna puke. this is a HS blog. go blog on a college blog.
Looks the team are playing good softball, what's happen to Wilson tha last few years..It looks like bonita will running the table..Good to see CO doing well. LA is doing really good with there young talent. Who is coaching with Lydell? It looks like DL is doing well and getting reconized for her pitching..(1)hit complete game against Quinnipiac for her first win. And who said she didnt get picked up for her pitching?? she's doing fine..
a no-no by ARGYLE?? nice job to the 2nd best arm in the sierra league. the top arm, J.HALL tossed a perfect game yesterday. 21 up, 21 down. 19 K's. the other 2 outs were ground outs..back to the box....dogs only lost 1 sr. should be another dynamic race in this highly talented league....

There is a greater than 90% chance of West Covina going to the finals in that tourney. They will prove to be one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the valley. They have no weaknesses and have a veteran coach, Dan Woodward, who will make all the right moves. Look out for West Covina this year!!!! Ness says so!

I guess that 10% was pretty good lol.
GO CHARTER OAK!!!!LA any update?are they losing yet?
Onlooker2
I'd like to see your sorry azz play with no pressure. They still won and the score should have been more like 7-2 if not for all the mental mistakes.
GO GO GLENDORA !!!
FINISH !
Fight On
TM
What happened last night?? Did it to themselves. In their head too much. Rivalry pressure no excuse.
How?
Remember the SD Bonita game is a inner district rivalry game filled with nerves and emotion and much harder to play.
Glendora should win like 3-1
How?
Look deep into who they played>
Marymount great returning pitcher cif champs
Aquinas great returning pitcher one going to LMU the other going to CAL.
San Jacinto another good pitcher and great team. Its not rocket science, yea SD played them tough could have beat them but they are showing signs of fatique and this is by far the best SD team in years Corona and Moore should have been Varsity starters since their freshmen year and will make a big difference starting for this team everyday what was DP thinking?
Good luck west covina softball against bonita tonight! make me proud alyse! Do it for roger<33
....Yeeeee Dekota, lets go Bug haha.
John Cochtoasten - Can you get me some Bulldog gear? If you do just charge it to the Underhills! HA, HA, HA!!! Great pull for a blogger name. Say hi to Fletch for me! LOL!
My ? is how was it a tough schedule when they blew out all thos teams. They didn't have 1 tough game. San Dimas gave them their toughest game so far. Don't get me wrong, Bonita is good but don't make them out to be better than they are.
Interesting Matchup today: Glendora vs. LA. Any predictions?

It may look like the toughtest schedule on paper right now but check back in a week.Bonita starts the season off with bang and has the possibility of facing 4-cif finalist 2-quarter finalist and 2-champions all in a nine day period.Check out who they play with most of them returning top pitchers.
Marymount-cif champs 24-4 they play tomorrow
San Jacinto-cif quarters 18-6 they play tomorrow
JW North- game on saturday
Aquinas 22-4 lost to torrance first round, if they can navigate the top schedule.
San Dimas cif finalist 25-5 they play on Tuesday
West Covina possibly on thursday San Anonio chps
Glendora cif finalist 22-5 possibly on friday
Etiwanda cif champs possibly on saturday.Even half of that schedule is tough no gimmies in this line up my friend.
Winning five in row Bonita has played an tremendously tough schedule in five days. For them to win any more games beyond this point would be an amazing accomplishment and a bonus. Showing signs of fatigue no doubt.
Fred,
Where were you last night? Oh now you want come watch a game your killing me smalls you missed a good game buddy.
Carly is a great kid and a great pitcher...she's a hard worker...wants to be the best at whatever sport she's playing (don't know if she's still playing volleyball). she has great support from her family as well. carly is the type of pitcher that will go in when needed and make every attempt to get the job done, one pitch at a time. she dont care whose up at the plate, just tell her where you want it and shes going to make the effort to place it there. i am not from glendora. i am not from her league. i know her from her younger days. i can only guess that she has gotten better. i wish you luck carly! although if we ever face glendora, i hope your not pitching cause then i'll have to root for my team :)
Who won the Bonita San Dimas game last night?
The proof is in the puddin'. The Lady Bulldogs are about to put up some big numbers this week and for the rest of the year. numeral dos is about to work that magic and the girls are just too tough.
LOL = Comedy. WC last year outhit teams to win games. Did you just look at boxscore and see who pitched? C'mon, they can hit and they are better than people think. I look forward to number 2 leaving an impression on the Valley and Bonita after the second round. Good luck ladies, go get em today.
Both but mostly hits, clearly a warm-up,Wilson will be another warm-up.
?????? it was alot of both. Etiwanda hit the ball hard but lots of E's on Walnuts part especially in right field. Too many walks on Walnuts part and Etiwandas pitcher is just too good.
How did the Etiwanda/Walnut game go? str8t hitting, or E's?
Etiwanda on cruise control!
Hey John,
The best thing West Covina has going for them is DMonarez kid is a big game player period. What will happen now that the lefty is back and healthy?
We will see about those Bulldogs. I have a really good feeling about this team. Coach Woodward is as good as they get. His assistants, Coach Gervasi and Coach Renteria are nails as well.
Do you acknowledge that this is the best time to receive the loan, which would help you.
Good luck Lady Bulldogs! You've worked hard, should show a well played season!!
John Cochtoasten
More like greater than 90% West Covina loses the first game Lol.

Fred
Your right but I believe he actually thought he was doing himself a favor.
Well he didn't do himself any favors playing Bonita in the first round.
Fred
what a joke what was DP thinking when he did these brackets. This guy really needs to get a clue,is he that scared of Etiwanda? this is why SD will never get the respect they are always crying for.The coach is scared to play good teams and when they finally do they get spanked go figure!
