Softball Boxscores: Los Altos opens the season with a point to prove, beats South Hills, 7-2

Los Altos-SHills game story: - One game doesn't make a season, but the Los Altos High School softball team appears to have answered the biggest question Conquerors fans have been asking about their starting pitching. Sophomore Jennipher Solis made her first appearance in a varsity uniform Friday, giving up only two hits and striking out seven while going the distance in a 7-2 victory over South Hills in the season opener for both teams.

I have to omit I thought SH would win this game. LA prove me and alot of other people wrong. Good for LA and there Soph pitcher and the whole LA team. They are a young team and will be in alot of games. If there pitching hold up they'll be fine. LA can hit and play defense. Who is helping Coach Lydell in the dugout?
