Both Colony players granted valid change of address transfers to Pomona, according to CIF

There has been some discussion over the eligibility status of two All-League Colony High football players, senior-to-be Makale McCobb (WR) and junior-to-be Gerald Kough (OL), who both transferred to Pomona High School, where former Colony coach Anthony Rice has applied, interviewed and is rumored to be taking over. According to CIF, both players were granted valid change of address transfers. Kough was cleared in February and McCobb cleared in late March. Also, after reporting last week that both players were mysteriously removed from Colony’s MaxPreps 2009-10 roster, both players were re-inserted back to the roster over the weekend.
