Somebody send Fred a picture of the the Monster SD made!

  • No

I never played for a Cracker Jack ring

  • SGV FOOTBALL

San Dimas fans please email Fred so he can post the pic of your ring. I would like to look at the behemoth you guys came up with.

  • 5 and dime

HAHA, Is that the best you can do CO? Glad you took a picture of it because your not going to see another one for a long time.

  • Amat fan

I’m not hating. That ring is sweet! What’s up with SD haters? So what if your ring is bigger? Your level of comp is weak, but your ring is bigger right?

  • Sainthood

    Amat fan,
W/e, we have a ring what about you? You claim to be the big doggs of the valley. But your the little pup of your division, oh and ringless!
    Night Night.

  • DR

Congrats CO! You were deserving of this title and that ring.

  • Amat fan

We are the Kings of the valley, thanks.

  • AMAT 73

Congratulations on your rings . Wear them proudly as going back to back is quite an accomplishment . Good luck in the Sierra and show the IE what SGV football is all about.

  • Real Amat Fan

    Amat fan

I have my doubts that you are actually BA supporter so why don’t you tell me exactly where the “Touchdown Jesus” is located on the Bishop Amat campus?

And if you get this quesition right, shame on you for dishonoring the Amat Family with your crude comments.

  • Amat fan

Real Amat fan- I like CO’s ring! Deal with it!

  • Norco

Bawawaaaaaaaaaaa!Yes please show us what SGF is all about…we will be waiting…

  • AMAT 73

    Norco,
What is your problem . Not enough blogging in the IE . Hummmmm I wonder why ? Can’t figure out why your always on here baying about the IE . The only teams that consistantly play the SGV are Los Osos and Rancho C, don’t think Norco ever has. Humm I wonder why again . Just give it a rest until football season and see how everything pans out. Until then save your crying for your beer.

  • SGV FB

    Norco,
Are you back? Go back to your Billygoats and will hear from you when we get to playoff time.

  • Norco

    AMAT 73…

Norco has WINNING record against Los OSOS and have NEVER lost to them…What is Amats record against them? So no need to wonder why any longer…enough said…And another thing here is the correct way you spell consistently…ha ha

  • Norco

    AMAT 73…

Norco has WINNING record against Los OSOS and have NEVER lost to them…What is Amats record against them? So no need to wonder why any longer…enough said…And another thing here is the correct way you spell consistently…Bawawaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!

  • Amat fan

Amat 73- Im a true Amat fan, but Im territorial by nature. I enjoy Amat success most, but I also enjoy our areas success. Im glad to see that CO ring posted here and I would like to see the SD ring that the other blogers speak of. Everyone knows that Amat is the best in the sgv! We may not have a ring to prove it, but everyone knows that we are in a much tougher league than all in the sgv. My question to you is “Where is this touchdown jesus?”
just because I dont know doesnt mean Im not a fan mr Real Amat fan!

  • BAHS

Nice. Congratulations C.O. where’em proud! You guys earned them and it truely is a huge accomplishment!

  • Norco

    SGV FB….

Yes im back….why you missed me?

  • Citizens for Idiot Removal

MicroNorcophallus- you and SGV-best have got to the same person or at the very least…family? Two bigger idiots who act alike, sound alike, type alike and share the same moronic point of views cannot be a coincidence. Go back to the the blogs at the Daily Bulletin, The Sun or The Press Enterprise. What a lame. Bawawaaaaaaaaaaa!

  • New York

    Fred,
Bring your Lambo back out for another picture of Coach Farrar and his additional ring.

  • AMAT 73

    Norco,
Big deal you have spell check and I don’t . I am a math wiz anyway, English was never my strong subject . I see you’re still crying . Like I said save the tears for your beer when CO whomps your teams azz in the playoffs if Norco even makes it. Either way beating Los Osos is no reason for Norco not to come in the SGV for a game. Norco winning over LO does not equal what AMAT would do vs Norco.

    AMAT Fan,
And you are posing this question to me because ? I thought this was between you and Real AMAT Fan.By the way I do understand why he posted that reply to your kings post . To post something of that nature only adds fuel to the arrogant stance taken by many who view us that way.

  • SGV FB

    Norco,
No I dont miss you! Oh and talk about spelling you dont abbreviate San Gabriel valley with a SGF.

  • Norco

    AMAT 73,

Since youre a math whiz…mathematically, these numbers for Norco are pretty impressive. Also Norco has NOT MISSED THE PLAYOFFS IN THE LAST 23 YEARS…

    CIF Champions
    1992 1993 1998 2005 2006

    CIF Runners Up
    1994 2003 2004

    CIF Playoff
    1974 1975 1980 1981 1982 1984 1985 1987 1988 1989 1990 1991 1992 1993 1994 1995 1996 1997 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009

By the numbers, since 1992 there have been 18 seasons.
Of those 18 seasons, Norco has won the championship 5 times (27% of the time).

Of those 18 seasons, Norco has been in the championship game 8 times (44% of the time).

In just the last 7 seasons, the team has only missed the semifinal round once, has won the championship twice, and has lost in the finals twice (meaning more than half of the time, they’re making it to the finals):

2009: 11-2, lost in the semis by 1 point.
2008: 9-4, lost in the semis.
2007: 9-3, lost in the second round.
    2006: 12-2, champions.
    2005: 13-1, champions.
2004: 12-2, lost in the finals.
2003: 12-2, lost in the finals.

  • Norco

    Citizens for Idiot Removal,

Orale Milkweed…Do you need a hugg today?

  • Norco

    Amat 73…

I like you old man…But come on at least know what your talking about…You made some comments and I will post each comment with my answer below…

The only teams that consistantly play the SGV are Los Osos and Rancho C

That maybe be true…But like I said in a previous post Norco has NEVER lost a game to Los Osos, Bishop Amat has STRUGGLED with Los Osos…You know the Mighty Bishop Amat team who plays in The toughest division in America Bawawaaaaaaaaaaa!

Norco winning over LO does not equal what AMAT would do vs Norco

Scoreboard says other wise, why play Amat when they can`t beat a D3 team who Norcos is undefeated against…Bawawaaaaaaaaaaa!

Like I said save the tears for your beer when CO whomps your teams azz in the playoffs if Norco even makes it

Funny…I will give you some comparative scores…Charter Oak was down to Etiwanda 19-7 @ the half-well Norco had that same Etiwanda team down 31-7 @ the half, @ 37-7 in the middle of the 3rd quarter when Norcos JV team was in. Granted Charter Oak came back to win the game…I will give them credit for that. And like I said Norco has not missed the playoffs in 23 straight years and this year will be no different….

  • Respect is Earned…Even in Norco…

    Norco

Your CIF history is impressive. However, what Pac-5 powerhouse has Norco played and beat? I mean, how can you sit there and talk about how great Norco is when Norco HAS NEVER SEEN Mater Dei, Long Beach Poly, or Los Alamitos?

I respect football in the Inland Division..Heck, according to Calpreps, 3 teams from the Inland are in the top 25 teams in the State of California. Many consider this a “down” year for the Pac-5. But even during this “down” year, the Pac-5 still managed 6 teams (SIX TEAMS) in the top 25 including the top THREE.

Bishop Amat finished at #17. Another Pac-5 team in Dana Hills came in at #27. Norco finished at #29.

You can point to comparative scoring or go on about how good Norco played Crenshaw who beat Lakewood, etc, etc, etc, BUT UNTIL Norco plays and beats an actual Pac-5 powerhouse, no one from Bishop Amat or anyone from the Pac-5 is going to respect you.

Respect is earned, son. To be considered the best, you have to beat the best. In the past two seasons, Bishop Amat has beat Orange Lutheran, Mater Dei, St. Bovaventure, Loyola, Crespi, and was one play away from defeating eventual 2008 Pac-5 Champ Long Beach Poly…

What has Norco done in comparison? LOL!

  • C.O. Chatterbox

    Bishop Amat Fans,

I haven’t been on this blog for some time because of the classless blogging back and forth but Bishop Amat I have to say you’ve been nothing but class commenting on this post and us real, sincere, true Charter Oak fans wish you nothing but the best as well. We need both programs to be successful in each of our divisions this year. We have to represent us and our Valley vs. the world sort of speak.

    Norco,

I can only imagine what your schools football progam rank and file would say about your posts. Your head coach raised a good young man in Toby Gerhart and I can’t imagine he would condone such behavior. You are embarrassing many far and wide in the I.E. talking like you do. Regardless, I wish you the best of luck next year and hope the opportunity presents that in the next few years we get to play each other. For that matter, I want you to arrange a preseason game next year with Bishop Amat too.

Nothing would make me more proud and feel better if both C.O. and B.A. beat you in the same calendar season!

  • Norco

    Respect is Earned…Even in Norco,

First of all Poly is a great HS program, MD has not done anything relevant since 1998 ( sort of like the Raiders) and this is the same MD that struggled and almost lost to D7 Cypress High School Los Alamitos???? Are you serious they are not even the same team as they were back when they were dominating, go check LA preseason record and see the teams that they play to go into league 5-0 . Now I would like to know what your definition of a Pac 5 Powerhouse is? I will give you a list of Pac 5 PAC 5 PARTICIPANTS and please explain to me how each program is a POWERHOUSE in the ALMIGHTY PAC5 who up until last year didn`t have a Bowl Participant in D1 or the Open ..

    ALISO NIGUEL
    MARINA
    J SERRA
    SANTA MARGARITA
    LB CABRILLO
    COMPTON
    LB JORDAN
    LB MILIKAN
    CAPISTRANO VALLEY
    HUNTINGTON BEACH
    TESORO-ONE HIT WONDER
    FOUNTAIN VALLEY
    NEWPORT HARBOR
    and even SJ BOSCO.

Also bring up Calpreps..lol…You know when CIF chooses the State Bowl participants, the only organization to give a presentation on teams and their rankings is CAlHISPORTS.COM. I suggest you go check their rankings and see where Norco is ranked #10….And where the PAC5 teams are placed, also see where Dana Hills is ranked (they are no where to be found) I watch DH against Edison & MV and they were not very good…In DH three losses they were not even competitive losing by a combined 130-49, hell DH struggled against Non playoff teams Tesoro & RSM.

Now as far as earning respect….please like I have said in previous post….The best football is not always played in the PAC5, because if that was the case up until last year how many PAC5 teams have represented the South in Bowls? The Old “Level of Competition” is really getting old….On any given day the top 5 teams from each can compete and beat one another…Also I find it funny you dont value comparative scoring yet you hang your hat on the BA beat Crespi who was one play away from defeating eventual 2008 Pac-5 Champ Long Beach Poly now that sir is funny!!!!!!!

  • Norco

    C.O. Chatterbox,

I respect your post and appreciate your comments. I like the fact that you can be civil and get your point across, without the name calling and the insults. Now I really hope Norcos Coaches aren`t wasting their time reading an anonymous message board, I know Coach Gerhart personally and yes he is a great coach and a good guy- and I know for a fact he could careless what people post. Now not only did he raise a good young man in Toby, but also his other son Garth who is the starting center at ASU, and his three daughters (triplets) two who are on scholarship at Stanford for softball and one who is on scholarship @ Santa Barbara . Anyways I would like for you to point out where I have been an embarrassment to Norco and the IE by what I post? This is just a message board no more, no less and from what I can tell it`s all about friendly banter. As for arranging a pre-season game with BA, that is not within my power, but I do know the AD and know he has tried to get games with Edison, LA, Newport Harbor, Fountain Valley, Mission Viejo, San Clemente and Danna Hills…All which have turned Norco down…Matter of fact Norco tried to take Coronas place this year to play MV and even offered to travel to MV for the game and was turned down…distance is not an issue for Norco since they have traveled for preseason games to Crenshaw ( Los Angeles), Leuzinger (Lawndale), Canyon Country (Santa Clarita Valley), La Quinta (Palm Springs) and Imperial HS (Imperial Valley)… Anyways good luck to CO this year.

  • Blah, Blah, Blah

Wow Norco, you make it seem like everybody has been ducking Big Bad Norco? With all the success of your program, how come they haven’t been moved up already? The proof is in the pudding and when you can snatch the football from my hand grasshopper, you will be asked to leave the safe confines of the temple and join the upper ranks of the football community. Even if they haven’t done anything in a while. Only one team can win it and that doesn’t mean taht everybody else sucks, it just means that team was better that year. Back to Back CIF Champs like Charter Oak did is an accomplishment. Doesn’t happen all that often. Keep at it little engine that could one day you will move that rubber tree plant.

  • AMAT 73

    Norco,
Thanks I like you too young pup. I do know what I am writing about. Yes not maybe in that LO and RC are the only consistant opponents from the IE that knocks on the SGV’s door. Yes we have struggled with LO which I don’t deny. Yes we are mighty and yes we do play in one of the toughest divisions in the USA. Your words not mine so no need to cry. Man you sure cry often. Now I will question your football knowledge . You know damn well what the scoreboard on Norco vs LO really has no effect on what it would read for AMAT vs Norco . You know as well as I do anything can happen between the lines on any given Friday night. Come on here and tell me Norco would whip AMAT and give your reasons why ok but not because you have beaten a like opponent. Just ask COCF about that theory. But the kicker is for you to come on here and say that MD has done nothing since 98 and is just another team is insane.Until you have faced them you have no idea just how tough they are . So in closing I say to you this , Norco has not won a title since 06 so what have you done lately . Don’t give me all the times you have made the playoffs because that is all well and good but you and I both know winning the title is what really counts. As many of the AMAT FAITHFUL have come on here and said , we are on our way back but the goal is the PAC-5 CHAMPIONSHIP .

  • Norco

    Amat 73,

Ok…reality is Amat up until last year was a game above 500…with a record of 27-26 over the last 5 years missing the playoffs three of those five years….So I can understand your excitement…lol…Now nobody is crying…And yes I do know on any given night anything can happen, thats why they play the game. Now Amat and Norco would be a great game, very physical, old school football. And just so you know my nephews have played and started at Orange Lutheran for the past five years, this year my nephew was the starting MLB for OL #34. Also my other nephew will be starting at LB for MD as a junior… Now I have watched plenty of Trinity league/Pac5 football and believe me the top teams form the Inland can compete with the top teams form the PAC5. anyways it is what it is…

  • Norco

    Blah, Blah, Blah.

Since you wanted to open up your twinkie hole, I will respond to you. Now I never said anybody is avoiding Norco, all I said is those teams were contacted and for whatever reason declined a game. Now a few years back Mission Viejos HC Bob Johnson and South Coast League wanted out of the PAC5 and petition CIF to be moved down . Now the newly formed BigVIII took a vote incase they were given the opportunity to move up to the PAC5, of those teams that voted only Corona Centennial, Norco and JW North voted to move up, well Corona, Corona Santiago, Roosevelt. Riverside Poly and Riverside King voted no-so there is your answer. Now you talk about Back to Back CIF Champions…Norco accomplished that 2005 & 2006…whats even more of an accomplishment is playing in FOUR STRAIGHT CIF CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES…Now please entertain as to how many State Title games the upper ranks of the football community have played in besides Servite last year?

  • Joe Amat

    Norco,

Not really sure were you were going with your question to Blah,Blah,Blah:

“Now please entertain as to how many State Title games the upper ranks of the football community have played in besides Servite last year”

    I’ll give it a shot…

In 2009 Servite represented the South, in 2008 Poly played for the title, and in the 2006 initial game OLu beat up on DeLaSalle – you probably remember them from ’07?

In 2007 Centennial was chosen instead of a 13-1 Long Beach Poly team (even though a few weeks before that 43-7 lesson the Huskies gave to your Cougars they had already lost to that irrelevant Pac5 Mater Dei team that hasn’t done anything since 98…well except for the Co-Championship in 99 and the finals appearance in 2002… and the Monarchs dropped 51 on Centennial in 07… not that we’re comparing scores. I guess we’re not counting MD’s win over Centennial last year as relevant either… and if they’re irrelevant – then beating the Inland finalist what exactly does that make the Inland Division?)

So what were you actually asking about State Title Games and the upper ranks of the football community

  • WTF? Norco? LMFAO!!!

    Norco…

You talk a lot a crap but until Norco plays Mater Dei or the “lowly” Los Alamitos Griffins, you are really talking out of your ass.

Norco has absolutely no experience playing the top programs from the Pac-5 man!!!

HOW CAN YOU EVEN ATTEMPT TO CONVINCE US THAT NORCO CAN COMPETE IN THE PAC-5 WHEN NORCO HAS NEVER PLAYED A PAC-5 PROGRAM????

Seriously man…I understand school pride and all but you cannot possibly be for real…

Are you for real man? This is a serious question…

    Are you for real?

  • Norco

    Joe Amat…

I like you…finaly someone with some football knowledge of the Southern Section…Your good in my book…Hey and no shame losing losing to CC that year when they had 11 scholarship players…And FYI…Norco still holds scorboard against CC and still leads the series against CC. :)

  • Give it up Norco…NO RESPECT FOR YOU!

Norco = Pwned by Joe Amat (once again)

  • Horse what?

The only thing you need to know about Norco is that when you drive thru that town all you smell is horse ****.

  • Norco

Like I said up until last year Amat was just a PAC5 PARTICPANT…They were one game above 500…with a record of 27-26 over the last 5 years missing the playoffs three of those five years. This year once again they will be regulated to PARTICPANT STATUS with these other PARTICPANTs…

  • Whats your point Norco? The Inland has nothing on the Pac-5

These are the Inland Division “Participants” in 2009:

    Murrieta Valley 6-5
    La Sierra 6-5
    Great Oak 6-5
    AB Miller 5-6
    Carter 5-6
    Valley View 5-6
    King 4-6
    Canyon Springs 4-6
    Temescal Canyon 4-6
    Vista del Lago 4-6
    Fontana 3-7
    J.W. North 3-7
    Riverside Poly 3-7
    Moreno Valley 2-8
    Ramona 2-8
    Santiago 5-6
    Corona 2-8
    Eisenhower 1-9
    Rialto 1-9
    Temecula Valley 1-9

Many consider this year to be a “down” year for the Pac-5 as there were 9 (NINE) teams out of 29 programs that finished the season below .500

In comparison, the Inland Division had 17 (SEVENTEEN) out of 30 programs that finished below .500

THAT’S OVER HALF OF THE INLAND DIVISION THAT SUCKED FOR THOSE OF YOU (NORCO) THAT DON’T HABLA…

  • OH YEAH

    Norco,
To steal a line from one of my favorite movies and it is Friday afterall. DEBO/norco you just got the F_ _ K KNOCKED OUT . You should have known not to be messing around with Amat . Sooner or later JA would get tired of your weak stats and tell you like it is . Hope you wash your feet daily because right now that is what is in your mouth . YOUR FOOT. All that hot air you usually blow to the many bloggers and you come back with the I like you to Joe after he smokes your azz in public view.Very weak ,very weak. Another thing , did you turn off your spell check . I believe the correct spelling is finally not finaly. Boy Joe sure shook you up . Stealing lines from sgvsworst on the Pac-5 participant angle. Another blunder on your part (particpant)and you come on here and jab bloggers on their spelling , what nerve. Not just once but three times in one post. Boy you are just falling apart now . You are forgetting one thing about AMAT that those on your list can’t proclaim. Amat has won the title multiple times and none of the teams on your list can say that regardless of the last time Amat did it . They have done it in the top division which you or many of your IE pals can’t say also. Now go back to the ie little biatch and cry in that beer some more.boo hoo boo hoo .

  • Norco…You should only post when sober dude

    Norco said,

“Also I find it funny you dont value comparative scoring yet you hang your hat on the BA beat Crespi who was one play away from defeating eventual 2008 Pac-5 Champ Long Beach Poly now that sir is funny!!!!!!!”

LOL@YOU DUMBASS! You really should stop drinking when you post. It was said that Bishop Amat (NOT CRESPI) was one play away from beating LB Poly.

BUT that’s not the important point, sir…Has Norco ever faced LB Poly???

    LOL!!! OF COURSE NOT!!!

GO SLEEP IT OFF YOU NORCO DRUNK!!!

  • Play like champions

I love it when Norco comes on a SGV blog and stirs the pot up and we as the SGV slam his pie hole shut.
Come playoffs we will be marching into the IE and taking names and numbers.

  • Dan

    Joe Amat,
I was thinking the same thing about Mater Dei,
thats one hell of an irrelevant team out there in Santa Ana, nice facts you put out on the Monarchs.

  • Norco? Huh?

Yeah I would expect these type of comments to come from a Corona Centennial, Redlands East Valley, or Chapparal fan. But Norco? Norco has never played a Pac-5 Parochial power. Actually, Norco has never played a Pac-5 opponent, period.

I think this Norco guy is just trying to stir stuff up because he can’t possibly be serious.

  • Born and Raised SGV

For those that do not remember Norco has played in the SGV…..

They played Basset. It was first round playoffs back in 1989 when Marshaun Thompson ran for over 300 yards and Richard Parham was a hitting beast. Bassett beat Norco by two touchdowns if I am not mistaken.

  • Norco

Are you for SGV posters for real? Your nonsense about PAC5 powerhouses hardly makes you clowns formidable opponent in the debate department, when it comes to HS football. Its funny when you clowns start using insults, personal attacks, and foul language…just means you have run out of ammo. Besides, it’s hard to be insulted when you know the other person doesn’t know you, or your family. They’re shooting in the dark looking to get a rise out of you.

    Huggs & Kisses

  • Norco

Mater Dei= One and done in the playoffs. One playoff win in last three years, they have lost in the first round in 2004, 2006, 2007, 2009… Four of the last six years. WOW! There is your Pac5 power house for ya! They’ve steadily declined since 2002. It`s a pretty well known why they aren’t as dominant as they were in the 90′s…except for you clowns out here in the SGV who hold them in such high regards like the Raiders….Also Los Al hasn’t won a playoff game since 2005…Bawawaaaaaaaaaaa!

  • LOL@Norco

    Norco

First of all you are a wuss for dissapearing until this thread is virtually beat to hell and everyone has moved on to other threads. I stuck around because I know you would snake your way after the smoke cleared. And now I’m sure you give us some lame excuse as to why you dissapeared…SAVE IT.

Second, who cares about Mater Dei and Los Alamitos?

I thought we were discussing NORCO FOOTBALL?

Has NORCO ever played Mater Dei? NO!

Has NORCO ever played Los Alamitos? NO!

Has NORCO ever played Notre Dame? NO!

Has NORCO ever played Long Beach Poly? NO!

Has NORCO ever played any Pac-5 Opponent? (even a crappy one?) NO!

You want us to acknowledge Norco’s greatness by using comparative scoring and “what if” scenarios?

    LMFAO @ YOU!

    SEE YA CHICKEN!!!

  • Norco

I`m sorry who are you again on this anonymous board? I mean do you really think your somebody of importance in my world? See unlike your sorry ass, my life doesn`t resolve around waiting for somebody to post a response on a message board….Sort of like a dog waiting for the mailman dont ya say? Bawawaaaaaaaaaaa!

Oh ya….disappearing and disappeared are you serious? Ha ha…….So in your words.. SAVE IT LMFAO @ YOU! Bawawaaaaaaaaaaa!Bawawaaaaaaaaaaa!Bawawaaaaaaaaaaa!Bawawaaaaaaaaaaa!

  • Joe Amat

    Norco,

I find it difficult when people try to compare two teams and their “playoff wins” when those teams are in different divisions. Tough to criticize Mater Dei for playoff losses to Loyola, Crepsi, LB Poly, and yes, even Bishop Amat then claim a lot of credit for wins over teams like, let’s say; Carter, North, Ayala, San Bernardino, Elsinore, etc

You can’t compare across divisions unless you bring in some common thread. You keep bringing up Amat’s “struggles” with Los Osos in their two losses (24-20 on a 4th and 23 in the final minute, and 41-38 on a late Brehuat run the year before). Now both go down as losses , but really we’re splitting hairs on your matchup when Norco got 2 wins (21-20 on a blocked PAT? and 13-3).

Doesn’t seem like those comparitive *performances* were much different, although the final results were.

    Joe Amat…

Fair enough…my whole point is that top teams from each division can compete with each other. I know from top to bottom the PAC5 as a whole is a better division, but teams 1-4 in the Inland Division can compete with the PAC5 top teams on a yearly basis. And I also believe every now and then teams from lower divisions can compete as well . Whether or not they win is a different story. Anyways that just my opinion.

This post seems to get a good ammount of visitors. How do you get traffic to it? It gives a nice individual spin on things. I guess having something authentic or substantial to say is the most important factor.
