SGV Championships on Saturday at West Covina

San Gabriel Valley Track and Field Championships meet director Bob Ramsey keeps you up to speed on this week’s meet at West Covina High School on Saturday. For you track honks, you’re going to love Ramsey’s list of top SGV marks from 2006-09. There is also a new website called The San Gabriel Valley Track and Field Challenge that lists the current top marks of athletes all over the Valley. For the current Top 30 State Leaders in each event, click here, West Covina’s Beejay Lee tops the state in the 100 meters.

    Good Luck Amat Lancers! I noticed that the leader in the girls 2 sprints is from Amat as well as being second in the 400 and first in the long jump. Is Kylie Price related to Sheldon Price? Will Amats team participate in this? Who are the top competitors that will go against each other? Amat also has one of the top times in the relay. What about our distance teams? We are always proud to be Lancers and show our support. What time does this event start?

    Some local teams will not be running, taking time off after running the Covina Invitational (April 3), the Arcadia Invitational (April 10), and the Mt. SAC Relays (April 17).
