Rosemead is hoping that by ditching maroon for white helmets that it will somehow make them a tougher football team, according to coach Matt Koffler, who told Aram he wants to see his kids work harder and play tougher. I guess with white helmets you’ll look like a warrior with every scratch of your opponents paint, but I’m not sure it will make you play like a warrior. That has to come from within. If this works I’m petitioning UCLA to drop the powder blue.
