That looks like a tough game. The Glendora High School softball team reminds me of high school. Softball is really an interesting game I wonder whether the game is included in the olympics or not.

You have some honest ideas here. I done a research on the issue and discovered most peoples will agree with your blog. After that early period, the Beatles evolved considerably over the years.

Thanks for taking the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love learning more on this topic. If possible, as you gain expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more information? It is extremely helpful for me.

You have some bugs in html or css code in the footer.

The Tribune sent photographers to these softball teams this season:

3 games
Northview 3
San Dimas 3

2 games
Arroyo 2
Bishop Amat 2
Covina 2
South El Monte 2

1 game
Charter Oak 1
Diamond Ranch 1
South Hills 1
Walnut 1
West Covina 1

no coverage
Azusa 0
Baldwin Park 0
Bonita 0
Diamond Bar 0
El Monte 0
Glendora 0
Los Altos 0
St Lucys 0

And, absolutely no coverage for the Charter Oak Charger Classic. No reporter or photographer was there for the Championship game between two local teams Bonita and St. Lucys.

Fred, How can you say that South El Monte and Arroyo got little coverage when others got none?

Fred,
You covered the same match up on April 2. Some valley teams have gotten no photo coverage at all from the trib.

I can answer that for you, South El Monte and Arroyo don't get as much coverage during the season, their league having a lot to do with it. I felt with it being a championship between two local teams and having to choose where to send a photographer beforehand, the safe bet was the MVL championship. Who knew Glendora would beat Ayala for the first time in three years? Glendora softball has been on the cover plenty of times, let the others have their day in the sun too, championships mean the same to everyone.

great win said:

Congratulations Glendora on a great win against a great Ayala team and J. Hall. Don't understand why the tribune would not highlight the game on the front page of the sports section instead of page three. Earned win vs "dramatic" win? I'll take earned.

Just read the article about the Glendora game and I just want to give a huge shout out to Katrina Brandt! Way to go girl you rock! This is a memory you will enjoy for a very long time. To win a game of this magnitude is awesome and I hope your team mates attacked you when you came in! Good luck in CIF's and keep that bat hot!

ok so you are the judge of what is dramitic !! i guess to the fans of Arroyo and South it was Dramitic ! if the MVL bothers you so much just keep your comments to yourself !!

what is so dramatic? said:

....... score tied 3-3 in the bottom of the seventh, South El Monte .......... led off with a triple, and with the throw to third sailing into the dugout, ......... was awarded home for a dramatic 4-3 victory, which gives South El Monte the Mission Valley League title.

what is so dramatic about winning a game on a silly error. I saw this happen once in a rec ball game, but it wasn't dramatic. A walk off HR is dramatic, a suicide squeeze home is dramatic, even stringing a bunch of hits together is dramatic. I guess only in the MVL, it's dramatic.

This blog was about the game the girls played today. So get over the umpires and say congratulations to Glendora on their win today.
Go Carly!

question for umpire kathy said:

I saw you have been in the paper in the middle of controversy. When you did our game in Glendora 3 weeks ago, you went after one our coaches for no reason. You kicked him out of the game and you made it personal. It worked out for us in the long run when you blew a call against st. lucys and helped us win, karma at lucys expense. Looks like you blew another call against rowland and wc and it cost rowland a game. What is the matter with you and your crew? Sierra league and SAL league do not not use this crew anymore for the sake of the girls.
