This ought to be interesting and I will be curious to see how different our pre-season all valley team is compared to our final one in December. This will be a first-team offense and defense, so we’re taking suggestions. If you want to fill in the blanks, this is what we’re looking for …

    Sleeper picks:

    TE-Daniel Harriman

    QB-Garrett Pendleton, my guess is pre-season QB is Jeffries. O-line protects him well, he’ll sling.

    Not to seem biased but Kicker and/or punter has to be Dillon Corona from San Dimas with Allen Brown at OL and best center in the valley as a soon to be junior Alec Zenner anchoring the line. It tough to be put as best wide receiver but possibly as safety Kevin Kolbeck. Just throwing it out there.

Maybe they should win at least one meaningful game first. No, I don’t give them credit for their moral victory by keeping the South Hills game close.

    SGV Football showed me one: Aubrey Coleman at the end spot. He’s a heck of an athlete and great defensive player.

    Saint4Life… You are very correct. You may even be able to add Theo Darlington @ DL and Adrian Guerra @ OL or DL. Saints are Loaded with Linemen. Don’t forget… so are Glendora, DR, CO, and West Covina. Top Offensive/Defensive Lines: (note: this is offense and defensive lines combined)

    Kevon Seymour from john Muir is the top returning player . He has been impressing college coaches at campus and he shut down the areas best WR Dennis Rufus ( charter oak). 7int 2 return for td, 800 recieving yards , 200 rushing 8td . and he only a junior.

    We have been making lists of best positional players, and for the first time in a long time, I’m having a difficult time with running backs. This is not one our better years in the backfield as far as I can tell….

    Probably nobody better than Adam Muema this year, but he was your player of the year. Your top running backs were Jay Anderson and Geoff Vaughns, I find it hard to believe you can’t find anyone better. C’mon Fred, Jay had breakaway speed (4.5-40) and some nice moves, and Geoff had good moves, but no breakaway speed. There’s actually several kids out there that are better than Geoff, maybe a couple equally as good as Jay.

    That is some funny stuff!!! All joking aside,Christian Orduno /LT #74 from AMAT is one of the biggest talents in the valley…Flying under the radar at 6-4/295, this kid is quick,strong and very smart…this is a kid to watch!!!

    Azusa has two potential All-valley players
    One in Edwin Garcia, 1st Team all San Gabriel valley as a junior and returning to azusa as a senior. and Abraham Ochoa 1st Team All CIF wide reciever,dominated the SGV shootout. expect this kid to have a breakout season.
