Aram and I will discuss the two-minute drills on video this season, starting today with Bishop Amat and Garfield. We will post a few each day, others planned are Glendora-Charter Oak, Rowland-Baldwin Park, West Covina-Covina, and Los Altos-El Rancho.

    This is Garfield preseason schedule,Bishop Amat, Orange Lutheran,Colony High, St Paul. Their O-Line avg 261 and they are returning a lot of starters on Defense.I think they are trying to take a page out of LA Crenshaw High School on how to play with the big boys and get respect. They are raising the level of football they are playing.I think this is great but I think they will start strong and Amat will wear them down. 34-12 Amat

    Had a chance to talk to some players and parents from Garfield; they know nobody in SGV expects them to win, but they all say WE Fear No One. Also do not disrespect the heart of a bulldog. Bring the wood gentlemen Class 77.

    Did you know los altos past freshman tight end and running back will both be playing this game and starting! Tight end at bishop and running back at garfield. I just found this out amazing. Good luck to both you boys.

    I expected Bishop to man handle Garfield, IT DIDN’T HAPPEN. Garfield outside linebacker #42 dominated the linemen in front of him. He was in the back field every play. Bishop is overated or Garfield is really competitive.
