School team pages online now, read the PrepXtra preview of your favorite H.S. football team

There is a great new feature on the San Gabriel Valley Tribune preps home page. There is a link called Find Your School’s team page, in which you click and drag the school of your choice, which takes you straight to your team page, which will keep an archive of stories about your school throughout the year, as well as other daily stories. Every story in TribXtra, including the team stories, in online today, so if you click on your team page, you will see the team preview that ran in the magazine. For example, click Bonita’s home page, and take a look. The team pages also has widgets of this blog and Aram’s, as well as the MaxPreps widget to make it easier for you to search through MaxPreps.

Crafty move Freddy. If it was intentional – nice cover. Customer Service 101. I think you know what I’m talking about. If not – either lucky or intuitive. Either way works.

This is just another great addition to the paper/blog/online presence. Never before has the SGV fam had so much access to local info. Good job.

Thanks Joe, stories should be on the page all year, a huge upgrade over previous years, where the stories died out in our archive’s after two weeks. As we learn our video function, video’s will e sent to team pages as well…

Why dont you do all of the schools?

  • Curious

Is this just for football or all fall sports? If it’s for all, there are some schools on maxpreps that are missing.

  • Curious

Sorry, I was looking at the maxpreps widget not the school team pages. Can the missing teams be added there?

  • FredJ

Sure, we have to add Chino Hills, Ayala, Pomona, etc.

Hey Fred, just to let you know they have the top 25 poll of best High School football teams in California on ESPN.COM. Amat made the list. There is also a nice piece about Rio Ruiz on there when you click the LA South link on the top 25 poll. Here’s the link in case your curious.
