Bonita, a traditional power in its own right, has played second fiddle to its La Verne neighbors. The Bearcats have closed the gap, but the Spartans showed Tuesday they still rule the landscape. Eric Osterberg and Johnny Beal each scored two goals and Damien overcame a sluggish start en route to a 10-6 victory over Bonita at Las Flores Park.
