Boys Water Polo: Bonita might be closing the gap, but Damien still owns bragging rights, wins 10-6

Damien High School has been the area's elite boys water polo team for much of the past decade. Bonita, a traditional power in its own right, has played second fiddle to its La Verne neighbors. The Bearcats have closed the gap, but the Spartans showed Tuesday they still rule the landscape. Eric Osterberg and Johnny Beal each scored two goals and Damien overcame a sluggish start en route to a 10-6 victory over Bonita at Las Flores Park.
