Tribskin Pick’em, your predictions and ours

Steve Ramirez and I will go head-to-head throughout the season.
Last Week: Robledo (14-3); Ramirez (11-6).

Last week: We both missed Covina over West Covina and Ganesha over Montclair, but I did call Glendora, Rowland, El Rancho and Santa Margarita, while Steve got me with Bonita over San Dimas. All in all, a pretty good week.
This week: I was foolish enough to think Amat had a pretty easy schedule, then Dominguez pulled off the upset over Crespi. This is just what Amat needed, a real Pac-5 type game to get ready down the road, and a motivator game to gauge where they’re at. Looking forward to seeing Covina in person on Thursday after their mammoth comeback over West Covina. On Friday, watch Glendora roll over Monrovia and South Hills squeak out a win over Baldwin Park. San Dimas should bounce back at South El Monte, West Covina and Diamond Ranch will start 0-2 with losses to Damien and Venice, respectively. Charter Oak better take care of business, and a result I’m especially looking forward to is Diamond Bar-Wilson, giving the Brahmas a slight edge.

Coveritlive: Mike “The Cousin” Robledo did a super job with Amat-Garfield on Friday, we had commenters from several games posting scores, which is what it’s all about. No matter which game we decide, when we have participation throughout the Valley, everyone benefits. We hope more of you tech-savvy commenters can do the same as we continue week-to-week. We are sending Mike to Bishop Amat at Dominguez, and I will update him from my game at South Hills-Baldwin Park, as well as get updates from other games. Also, Thursday I will do a special Coveritlive from the District Field for Covina-Gladstone. Chino Hills Tom will send me updates from Ayala-Colony, but this also is a Q&A for those at home who want to ask questions or talk about Friday’s games while we’re live during the Covina game.
