Aram: Behind every football coach is a good wife

They say that behind every great man is a great woman. Well, I say behind every high school football coach there’s an even greater woman. It’s no secret being a football coach these days is beyond a full-time job. Coaches go to work in the morning just like any other teacher, but their day rarely ends at 3 p.m.

    You hit the nail on the head. The support my wife gives me makes it much easier to concentrate on coaching….sometimes we as coaches take this for granted. Great article.

    It’s nice to read a worthwhile article that is positive. So true what you wrote. Our coaches (no matter their records) do spend a lot of time in preparation for the next game. I think we forget that our coaches are people too. Thank you coaches’ wives for all YOU do too!
