Amat’s Concerns: Crespi QB sets another record

Next week, Crespi (5-1) at Bishop Amat (6-0), Serra League opener: For the second straight game, Encino Crespi quarterback Kenny Stenhouse set a new school passing record Friday night in the Celts’ thrilling 53-47 victory over Woodland Hills Taft. A week after throwing for a school-record 484 yards and five touchdowns against Vista Murrieta, the senior tossed a school-record six touchdown passes against the Toreadors.

50/50 out of control: Talk about hitting the jackpot. When Amat hosted Damien, the 50-50 winner won $2,800. Last night for homecoming against Venice, the winner was awarded $2,300. There were 15 other games in our coverage area Friday, I bet if you totaled the 50-50s from all the rest it still wouldn’t add up to $2,800. Most games I cover the 50-50 is rarely over $200.
