Girls Volleyball: San Dimas sweeps Wilson

Above: San Dimas scored a sweep over Wilson in the Valle Vista League Tuesday.

San Dimas continued to control play in the Valle Vista League with a 25-11, 25-23, 25-18 victory over Wilson on Tuesday.
The Saints, getting nine kills from Nicole Ellis, trailed in all three sets before rallying to improve to 14-4 overall and 6-0 in the Valle Vista league. Wilson slipped to 2-4 and 2-4.
San Dimas coach Paul Kim: “The girls kept fighting for every point. They didn’t give up.
We were down every game. Yet, they knew they needed to clean it up and they did that, and we were able to come back. It would have been nice to play a little bit more consistently, and we’re still working on that.”
Wilson coach Raz Simonian: “I’m very proud of the way we played. We played like a good team. We did play against a team that is undefeated (in league), so we did put up a fight.
I was very pleased with the way we played. To close the first half, with this effort was very, very good.”
