Tribskin Pick’em, your predictions and ours

Steve and I will go head-to-head in Tribskin Pick’em throughout the season for our annual dinner bet. I lead the overall series, two years to one.
Last Week: Robledo (12-6); Ramirez (12-6).
Season: Robledo (108-38); Ramirez (103-43*).

Last week: Not sure they were all upsets, but Steve and I had our worst week of the season, both finishing12-6. That’s bad news for Steve, because he still trails by five games, that was his chance. We got burned on the 50-50 games, taking Glendora over Etiwanda, South Hills over Damien, Chino Hills over Claremont, Mountain View over El Monte, and Rowland over Diamond Ranch, which all went they other way. I took an extra loss by taking Wilson over Northview, and he took a loss taking Crespi over Bishop Amat.

This week: This is make or break for a lot of teams with playoff aspirations as title pictures become clearer as well. Starting in the VVL, Covina has a chance to prove its legitimacy at home against Baldwin Park, a win all but guaranteeing at least a tie for the league title. But you can say the same about the Braves, who already own a win over defending champ San Dimas on the road. This is a toss-up, but Covina’s win over West Covina, it’s close loss to Walnut in OT tend to lean me toward the Colts. This is their coming-out-party, they score a lot of points, so I’m sticking with them in a thrilling finish. Charter Oak proved last week they might have the best offense in the Valley, especially through the air. With their defense coming around (which happens each year, it’s called great coaching), the Chargers will score enough to outlast Claremont, who will have RB Taj Teague back. You want an upset, here it is, Loyola will edge out Bishop Amat. There is no reason on paper to believe the Cubs win, but things don’t happen on paper the way they’re supposed to in the Pac-5. I never thought the Lancers would go 4-0 in league and they haven’t been a good road team over the last three years. Coach Hagerty might be undefeated at home, but the Lancers haven’t won a Serra road game during his tenue, going 0-3 the previous two years, losing twice in 2008 and last year at Crespi. And with Loyola hungry after being upset last week by Notre Dame, and being at home, it’s an absolute must for the Cubs, who squeeze it out. What happens is Amat will win next week at home against Notre Dame, then have two weeks for the finale against Alemany for either a share or the outright title. You heard it here first. Arroyo and Rosemead are playing for the MVL title, but I’m making the Knights 17 point favorites. Damien at Chino Hills is extremely intriguing, but you have to believe the Huskies bounce back at home after last week’s disaster. Walnut and Bonita could be intriguing also, but if the Bearcats are who we think they are they win going away…

You are wrong and thats your prediction Fred, Amat wins this game on the road, Loyola is a decent team but Amat and Alameny are the Serra best Teams and Will have that showdown at the end. I guess you dont want to be wrong if Loyola wins so your wishful thinking is if Amat wins you will be happier then SHIETE. You will give up the loss of the Loyola pick for a Amat win. All Serra league games will be close ones and yes the Cubs are in a must win situation but Amat goes there and wins. So with that way of thinking Crespi beats Alameny because they are in a must win? Amat will run the table til the 12th of Nov. when the Trip to Mission Hills will be for all the Marbles and who know Alameny may have a loss by then. I really like Amats chances. Any word on the injury Zach Shay? How long will he be out.?

  • SGV FOOTBALL

    Fred,

Do you want a curse placed on you by the Amat faithful? Loyola has not looked good all year, they are 3-4 Nueheisal is not throwing the ball well and I think has been out with a concusion. Their current QB threw for less than 50 yards on Friday. Making Loyola and Notre Dame look very week this year. Amat’s only chance at being upset will come against Alemany which I believe will come down to a very exciting game 9-0 Alemany and a 9-0 Bishop Amat.

The only pick that matters to me is Charter Oak over Claremont by at least 3 TUDS!

I work by Arroyo High School and I see a lot of their players walking around the business I work for. A lot of them are either really confident or just flat out conceited. I don’t know much about the school’s football, but what makes them so good? Or is it that they have a weak schedule? What are their chances in the playoffs?

  • Amat Stats

Wow Fred. I am very surprised with your pick on Amat. I am actually very disappointed. We are going to take your reserve seating away from our box at Keifer Stadium. In your words, “yes you heard it first hear.” WE ARE GOING TO TAKE AWAY YOUR RESERVE SEATING FROM OUR BOX AT KEIFER STADIUM- haha!!!!

Playing Crespi first was a blessing for Amat. To beat a team that was “hot” after its loss to Dominguez, has given Amat the edge in the Serra league. It has solidified all of the speculation. We have in fact beaten them – PERIOD, DONE, END OF STORY. Loyola and SO still have to play them not to mention Alemany is up this week to go against the mighty Celts. Yes Loyola and SO is going to be a hard fought game, but Hags, the Coaching staff and our kids, know what’s at stake – Serra Title, CIF Playoffs and Championship and potentially a state bowl appearance. Do you think Amat is just going to roll over and let Loyola take the hard earned work they have all strived for? We have a dynasty of young kids of seniors, juniors, and sophmores who are being bred and have contributed to this incredible 7-0 record so far. Ninety percent of the team is coming back the next two years. Ruiz, Jalen, Shay, Wallace, Velazquez, Brock, Torres, Sanchez, the entire OL not to mention Orduno, and our impeccable defense (headed by Juarez, Gener, Bowens, Cazares)with many juniors and sophmores supporting their leaders – ajee, sanchez, casteanos, alcantera, daniels and many others are on a quest to be the greatest bunch since our 70s, 80s and 90s hay days.

Amat is in stealth mode (we fly very high where no one can see us and then “bam” we strike with a vengeance and give them all hell). We do not get recognized for many things and that is OK with us. That has been apparent all season with the LA Times, SGVTribune, Maxpreps and all the naysayers in SOCal. We don’t get caught in the hype and quite frankly don’t care what people predict, assume, or expect. We just come and execute our job, know our assignments, know our keys, and scout our opponents with the greatest coaching staff of past head coaches of division I high school football teams, ex NFL football players, and past division 1 college players with our incredible kids.

FRED, FRED, FRED, FRED…. With all due respect to you sir, you are soooooo lucky the AmatNation likes you. Have a good week. AS

  • smallcity

    Steve/Fred,

I can’t fault you for going with Loyola. As I’ve said before, parity in this league is ridiculous, but I think the key will be the Amat’s defensive box putting pressure on the QB whether it’s Neuheisel, Magana or Develle. The Crespi game showed me that Amat is the real deal.

By the way, go here: http://espn.go.com/blog/los-angeles/preps

WHAAAAAAAAAT, FRED & STEVE, PICK LOYOAL OVER BISHOP AMAT. GOOD JOB GUYS AND WE APPRECIATE YOUR HONESTY!!!!

    AND THAT’S FOOTBALL MY FRIENDS…

Keep taking the Braves lightly Colts. San Dimas was favored by what two touchdowns ? We’ll see come Thurs.

    GO BRAVES !

  • Loss Altos

Is West Covina JAA Jr Midget team dressing up for Los Altos. This is the outright worse Head Coach on this side of the Colorado River.

  • CH Husky Fan

I am looking for the Huskies to bounce back after a tough loss. I have to give it to Claremont…they can sling the FB. We got over confident at halftime and let them back in the game and the momentum changed….with the help of the striped shirts..WOW!. I hated to see #2 Kuramata from Claremont get injured, that kid is a player. I think they will have a tough time against Charter Oak with out him. Teams will now be able to key on #11, another stud. I have faith that Charter Oak beats Claremont and we will get a shot at Charter Oak for a piece of the league title…….Just like the last 2 years in the sierra league.

  • BRAVETOWN

THE BRAVES WILL DESTROY THE COLTS THIS THURSDAY. I SEE A 17 POINT BRAVE VICTORY. THE BRAVES ARE WAY TOO PHYSICAL FOR ANYTHING THAT COVINA HAS. IVE SEEN THE COLTS PLAY FRIDAY AND THOSE LITTLE RECEIVERS HAVE NO CHANCE AGAINST THE DEFENSE THE BRAVES HAVE UNLEASHED IN LEAGUE PLAY.

    GO BRAVES !!!!

  • FredJ

Hey, I’m an Edgewood guy, don’t forget it

  • Joe Amat

    smallcity,

Gotta agree with you. In the Serra League you can pick names out off a hat and it would be a legit pick. You can’t fault anyone for picking anybody against any team. Anyone can beat you if you don’t play your best – and we better bring it. This is what some might call that “trap game” because Loyola is perceived as having a bad year and we have ND and Alemany ahead of us.

Most people in the Fish Bowl don’t understand being in a league like that. There is usually a doormat, where you can show up, clear the bench, get healthy and look forward to next week. Which is why it’s easier to run the table in the Mountain West or the WAC rather than competing week in and week out in the SEC or Pac 10.

In this case all 5 teams in the Serra League are capable of competing with anyone in CIF, so will be none of that. Keep in mind, that in the worst year of Amat’s existence in ’07, we beat Loyola for our only league win and knocked off St Paul – who became the D3 CIF Champs!

I’m sure the coaches will have the Lancers focused if for no other reason than Msgr Zimmerman’s yearly “Loyola rich kids” sermons! Let’s have a GREAT week of practice!

  • Steve Ramirez

    Amat Stats/Small City:
There’s a reason Fred and I are picking Loyola: I’m covering the game, and examine the history when I cover Amat on the road. The Lancers were 10-2 last year. I covered both losses – at Crespi and at Lakewood in the playoffs. This year, I covered the win at Dominguez, which was the Lancers toughest game before last week’s win against Crespi.
It should also be noted back in my college days, the Cal State Fullerton softball team had won a NCAA record 38 consecutive games, I wrote a feature on them, and they were swept in their next doubleheader.

  • Joe Amat

Hey Steve… given that info…ummmm… can you send Bruce Little instead!

  • Really Now??/

Really Now Steve! That’s your reason for picking Loyola??? WEAK… Are you serious???

Do us a FAVOR and go cover another game, like the Bassett vs Workman game…

You owe Cal State Fullerton an apology!!!

  • Colt74

    BRAVETOWN…..

“THE BRAVES ARE WAY TOO PHYSICAL FOR ANYTHING THAT COVINA HAS “…….

We’ve heard that before ….. I think it was West Covina that said that too….

    a) Taller than half of your team and
    b) Faster than your entire team….

Blogs are fun. Worse case scenario…you have a 50/50 chance to back up the BS….

Good thing you guys decided to unleash in league play…For a while there it was looking like you couldn’t even find the leash!

Here’s to a good game and no injuries…both sides!

I SAW COVINA ON FRIDAY AND YOU SAID THAT YOU GUYS WILL BE READY FOR THE COLTS OFFENSE. THE FUNNY THING IS YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE COLTS OFFENSE THEY BEEN WAITING TO OPEN UP THE PLAYBOOK. THEY DID NOT RUN ANYTHING CUZ THEY DID NOT WANNA SHOW IT. IF YOU GO BASED ON THEIR PERFORMANCE ON FRIDAY It WAS NOT BAD THEY JUST DID NOT SHOW ANYTHING CUS THE BALWIN PARK COACH STAFF WAS THEIR.THRURSDAY THE COLTS WILL OPEN THEIR PLAY BOOK AND YOU WILL BE IN FOR A SURPRISE CUZ COVINA COULD MOVE THE BALL. COVINA IN A CLOSE ONE. TO MUCH SPEED FROM COVINA

  • Nv Viking Mom

That’s right Fred J….you will always be an EDGEWOOD GUY…and don’t ever let anyone forget that!! ;D

  • Observation

I think Bishop Amat is very strong in all areas with their team with one exception, and I stand corrected if wrong. The coaching staff has them playing solid but my friends the kicking team is below average. Sure the kicker gets his PATS over the cross bar but has he been really tested in the fieldgoal part of the game, I really do not see this kicker hitting anything outside of maybe 40 yards. This is not good for Amat in a close game. The kickoff is very short which is giving the other teams opportunity to get that extra 10-15 yards that they should not have as a freebie. Has this kicker put one in the endzone yet on a kickoff? The 5’3″ kid from Crespi almost took one back as he caught it on the fly. The thing that doomed Amat vs Lakewood last year was not playing the kicking game smart where they kicked and punted to them for a return and we all know what happened there. If thats the best kicker Amat has they may want to try kicking Knuckleballs down the middle of the field thus lessening the chances of that big return. The punting of Rio gets you by but Amat really needs a boomer type punter like they had with Leihart a couple years back. This weak link to the Amat team may come back to bite them later on, they must improve here. I wont come in here and say I told you so but this is area of much needed improvement.

  • BRAVETOWN

COLT FANS , MCLAIN MAY BE FAST, BUT THE REST OF YOUR WIDEOUTS, COME ON.. AND PLUS THOSE LITTLE GUYS THAT YOU CLAIM ARE FAST, CANT BE FAST WHEN YOUR ARE ON LOCK DOWN AND ON YOUR BACKS. WE ARE WAY TO PHYSICAL. AND ABOUT THE WC GAME, YOU GUYS PLAYED 4 MINUTES OF GOOD FOOTBALL. THE REST OF THAT GAME YOU GUYS WERE OVERMATCHED PHYSICALLY. WC JUS DIDNT FINISH LIKE THEY ARE NOW.. AND YES HERES TO A WELL PLAYED GAME WITH NO INJURIES..

    GO BRAVES !!!!

WHAT ABOUT ARE OTHER RECIEVERS. LOOK OUT FOR #5 VINNY VANEGAS FROM COVINA YOU THINK MCCLAIN IS OUR BEST RECEIVER YOUR WRONG VANNEGAS IS. EVERY YEAR BALWIN PARK IS BIGGER BUT THIS YEAR IT WONT MATTER. THE COLTS DEFENSE IS VERY UNDERRATED. WEND YOU MEAN SMALL YOU TALK ABOUT #1 PETER DE LA CRUZ BUT THAT KID PLAYS WITH HEART AND HE MAKES UP FOR IT. HE WONT BACK DOWN FROM ANYONE.. IM TELLING YOU DONT GO BASED OFF THE NOGALES GAME. YOU WILL BE SURPRISED. THIS SHOULD TELL YOU SOMETHING ABOUT THE COLTS WEAPONS AND THEIR RB IS A BIG BOY TO BRING DOWN. That type of offense is ran by an individual with no brains. WHAT A JOKE.

Hey bird brain LA FAN, watch what you say about a EXNORTH VIEW COACH. Have some class and quit with the crying! Nobody on here cares how your team is doing, maybe those other cry babies, WILSON FANS.

Face it, your athletes have all gone away and that’s what your dealt with. Live in your past glory, maybe that might spark up a conversation on here.

    HAVE SOME PRIDE & CLASS!

  • SGV Athlete

Fred is just picking Loyola because he’s a UCLA fan and wants Nueheisal’s son to pull off the upset. hahaha…

  • smallcity

    Fred,

Seeing as how my son is a CSUF alum, I’m going to cut you a break.

…It’s funny how the LA Times missed on Amat last year (they even pointed it out). I personally feel they didn’t want to take a chance so they so they had Amat in their first top 25 this year. Again, I can’t blame them. Who knew?

    Amat Stats,

I have a strong suspicion that after this year, USC’s baseball recruiter is going to be whispering into Rio’s ear about the “pitfalls” of continuing his football career. That coupled with Rio’s love of baseball could mean there is a possibility that he will not be back next year.

As for the rest of the team, well, either out of necessity or not, Amat sure has a lot of underclassmen playing Varsity ball and so far it’s working out. That bodes well for the future, at least in those positions.

  • Amat tested

WE all know about Hagerty’s impressive home winning streak. But I didn’t realize they have not won a league away game during his era. They may not beat Loyola but I’m thinking that they will. They have a week off before the Alemany game which could only help them prepare and heal their wounds, should be interesting. They’ll blow Notre Dame out da box.

  • Amat is the Real Deal

    Hey Fred and Aram
I can understand the logic for picking Loyola over Amat because of it’s history from the past 2-3 years but lets be realistic…Hags, I believe started in 2007 and no one knew what direction Amat was headed. Hags in 2007 had a 3-7 record and in 2008 had a 7-4 record and in 2009 10-2. Now, as you can see much improvement has been demonstrated since those years. Today, in 2010 we have Amat at 7-0. Now, I would probably agree with you Fred if Loyola had a winning record and playing at Loyola. I see the history only in those games. But not the entire history of Amat when we had the days of Mater Dei, St.Paul, Servite, etc.. I realize its a must win situation for Loyola and despite there 3-4 below average record, Yes Amat has lost every away league game since the Serra era, but this is a different Amat team than the last couple of years. Call it a lost streak away in the Serra League but Amat is very aware of whats at stake and I believe Amat will be Loyola toughest league match next to Alemany… but Loyola task against a superior young Defense and a awesome front Offense will be a concern for Loyola. As you recall Dominguez was getting dominated by Amat and the score really should relflex 21-7 not 21-15 Dominguez got lucky from the onside kick which Amat held them for those last two minutes. If you base it on history for the past 2-3 years then your not looking at how good this team really is, you base it on history not competition, if Loyola was at Amats home would you pick Loyola because it’s a must win situation or would you base it on Hags 15-0 record at Home? No matter what you think Fred, what the last 2-3 years say, I’m a firm believer Amat will prevail and shine at the end. Amat can smell the Serra League and will taste it against Alemany. I honestly thought Crespi was going to win after taking the lead right after the 3rd quarter but Amat is “Amat” and will fight to the end. Amat has always been a second half team. You think I doubted Amat against Crespi, you can say I felt the pressure, just like every Amat fan in the stands because I heard and felt that silence in the crowd but I also heard and felt the Amat crowd was giving, the inspiration, the yelling and the support. I had that gut feeling Amat was going to come back. Amat will beat Loyola and beat Norte Dame at Home and the grand finale will be a game to watch at Alemany.. Sorry it couldn’t be played at Amat. It would of been a standing room only like it will be at Alemany. You have seen Amat play, not even the LA Times gave Amat props on beatng Dominguez nor Aram. Amat will win and you will probably go against them when they play Alemany, but Alemany will probably lose to Crespi..You watch and see…

    KH,
Unless hermosa pier is in another universe today, I don’t think there will be much eye candy with it being 55 degrees & raining….I wouldn’t get your hopes up.
Claremont will not win this week. Their defense is weak and they lost their best player for the season with a broken arm…teams only need to shut down #11 and their offense is done. They have NO running game.

  • Amat Stats

    @ smallcity

Thnxs for the feedback. Rio will no doubt be all he will be in his baseball career (See the story a few weeks ago in LA Times on his thoughts in playing both sports)and I am sure in the next few years we will see him batting on a major league team. I think, however, he loves the challenges that mentally and physically prepare him for his very successful future. He is a “gamer” and, I think, he would never let Hags and his team members down. He plays football just because he loves playing football nothing else. As for the rest, yes it definitely bodes well for those positions for the next few years. Our freshman team has done very well this year and we have some rising stars coming up the pipeline. As for our JV, they too have done well this season and will also have players that will be a force to be reckoned with when they come to varsity next year.

I think the biggest concern I would have is the complacency factor setting in on our team. It is human to sometimes let your guards down when you are on a winning streak. That when you have an attitude that we will come out and beat a team just because we are Amat, will not work and does not work in the Serra league. You see to the other teams, playing Amat is always a big game whether they have a winning or losing season. They are gunning for Amat. That sometimes can work against you because a team can all of a sudden get hot and play their hearts out and beat you. They can do everything right in a game and you can’t stop them no matter what you do. But Hags won’t let that happen to the kids. To him, every game is a 0-0 game and like every other team, they have to execute flawlessly to drive the ball down to the red zone otherwise Amat won’t be shining that night. Have a fabulous rest of the week. Maybe I will see u @ the game. AS

    Loss Altos,

Give your coach and staff a break over at LA. You guys have not played DB. Their staff is just as bad. It should be a great game lol when they meet in a few weeks. Both schools AD should post “COACHES NEEDED BAD” on craigs list. Should be Tribune “GAME OF THE WEAK”

  • VVL

BP beats Covina and SD beats Covina..

    Coin flip….

  • Are you kidding Steve?

Wow! You should be a bookie with that kind of logic. I can understand picking Loyola over Amat, but that’s the best reason you can come up with. Do you pick your other picks based on how pretty their helmets are. No wonder why you are losing. Don’t step on a crack because you know what happens next.

@ observation. You are 100% correct. Amat’s kicking game is below average at best and I believe if changes are not made it will cost them in the long run. I can’t believe Amat can’t find a soccer player to do the kicking for them. I know it is a different sport and different ball, but I am sure they can learn to kick a football.

  • SHOCKED!!!

    S H O C K E D!!!
no faith in the lancers from either of you!! just reading everything you guys say about the lancers, one would think you would of picked a them, over a team who may not have their starting quarterback. I am disappointed in the lack of confidence you guys have in your hometown team… SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!

  • BA Blues

    Amat Stats,

Well said. Amat does not “gun” for everyone but everyone definitely “guns” for Amat! Not many schools know what this feel like week after week.

    Observation,

I agree with you. Amat’s kicking game in all aspects is mediocre at best. And you are correct in that the Pac-5 typically has phenominal kickers. We can only hope that we will improve each week.

Best of Luck to the Lancers!!!

  • CSI La Puente

    SHOCKED,

You’re not a Lancer fan so what do you care? I know this because if you were, you would have said “Amat” or “us.” Instead you used “your hometown team.” In other words, you made no connection between BA and yourself.

Your intention was to highlight Fred and Aram’s “lack of confidence” or “faith” in BA which (in your mind) indirectly paints a negative image of BA.

This is the Serra League. It matters not what great things have been said about BA so far…When the Serra starts, anyone can beat anyone.

To someone like you, it’s a slam on BA because BA wasn’t picked to win. lol!

To us BA fans, this is just business as usual as it has been for over 3 decades. As a matter of fact, I would not be surprised at all if both Fred and Aram picked Loyola…again this is the Serra.

  • Amat Honk

Nicely done CSI La Puente, nicely done!

  • COChargerfan

COSteelCurtain, I had doubts before that jcaz or another Amat honk was the BEST but after this Im thinking that maybe youre right. One thing is for certain, its an AMAT honk because theyre the only one with motive. Hey Joe Amat and AMAT 73, this clown is representing your schoolnice image, isnt it?
I am NOT sgv’sbestjerk or non-sense1995! I am a lone gunman, and although I can go over the top on occassion, I prefer to stay positive. My 2 cents- I believe the imposter “COChargerFan” is responsible for all of these posts…”imposter COChargerFan,Nonsense1995 and “supposedly original” COChargerfan (answering himself). If CO is registered then anything without the “Mark” is bogus.
just a question for anyone who can explain said:
If there is anyone with the knowledge that can tell me, the correct answer, on how the Wild Card works in the Valley Vista League? Thanks for any help.
Gano has had tremendous talent, but it’s not like he just let’s those players go out there and play with no structure. He gets the most out of talented kids. They have a good system on both sides of the ball and nobody is bigger than the program. The kids all like playing for him which is a tribute to him, especially when you are talking about tremendous athletes. No, he won’t be at La Verne and that’s La Verne’s loss. It’s not like he’s beat up on bad teams for 10 years. He has scheduled the best teams around and beat most of them. What he has done the last 10 years makes him more than just a “good” high school coach. Those people that know him know that he understands X’s and O’s as well as anyone.

  • Amat Honk

I’ve said before we do not all operate by the same standard and Who really cares what you think about who is who on the Blog, Shut up loser. By the way where is your registered name icon? EXACTLY! Nice try, “SGV’schargerFan1995″.

  • Amat is the Real Deal

Fred, Aram, and Ramirez…you all pick against a very Good Amat team…you just opened up a can of worms and a can of whip A$$ from all the Amat bloggers and Fans…..Believe it or not, you will be redicule left and right after Amat puts a beating on Loyola. History will not repeat itself not with this team and not against a 3-4 Loyola Team… Serra league is tough league despite records and anybody can lose but the Amat kids know not to let there guards down even though they are 7-0 and going against a 3-4 Loyola team. Sadly, you based it on history when Amat was in development with Hags… Amat will go 9-0 and will meet a very good Alemany team at Alemany.. This will be Game of the year if both teams go undefeated for the Serra League Championship…Go Big Blue and Gold. Our lady of Victory is with you…God Bless all the teams in the SGV…

  • kh

we will be working there for 5 months at the beach, woman still come out to shop…crazy weather down there today claremont lost there star player, its ok they still will win,

  • COChargerfan

If Amat and CO played, no doubt that Amat would lose! Impossible that CO could win? It could happen Amat honks, couldnt it?
Congratulations youve got a bunch of classless, obnoxious kids on your team. Does Hags teach this behavior? Way to represent your values.

  • EagleAlum

FIRE HERNANDEZ!!!!!! Ray Hernandez is the worst thing to happen to South El Monte High School football in the school’s history. This program has taken a total nose dive since Escamilla left. This guy has no clue what it takes to run a successful program. FIRE HERNANDEZ!!!!!!

  • LA Scenario

All LA fans and critics and armchair QB’s….be real, Los Altos does not have any talent to compete in the hacienda, key word there is to COMPETE in the hacienda, now if they were in the Valle Vista then yes, they could compete a lil better, but not where they currently are, no way…not enough horses, thats plain and simple, anyone that says otherwise has their head in the clouds and is living in the past. You all think that Arrellanes didnt know what he was getting himself into, this was a program that won what, 3-5 games the previous 2 years before he got there, he knew and he still took the job that no one wanted. Nobody wanted to coach you los altos, no one, like any of you bloggers here would have stepped up to the plate and done any better, what a joke. And dont give me this godinez arguement, like we always get in here from time to time, nobody in or around the program, alumni and fans, other than maybe 2 people want that guy running the program. Los altos, face the facts, you had some decent coaches last year and you rolled the dice that you could do better, and you came up losers. That simple………scenario…3-5 years, wilson will be playing in the montview and los altos will be in the valle vista…how times have changed.

  • montview

All that azusia aka azusa talk is bs. They should watch out with those roids. Shouldn’t we have cif check that out. I’m sure that isn’t ok and assuming its against the rules too
