These young men are looking forward to this test and I know there will be no backing down. I assume every player and coach in the area would give anything to play or coach in a game like this. Chino Hills may not be the strongest team out there, but they sure have heart. I believe this game can go either way. True, Corona Centennial has a great record and is a great team, but so are the Chino Hills Huskies! Both of the teams have great records to show for it! Either way, it’s gonna be a great game!

Matter of fact it seems odd to hear that Chino Hills beat Tesoro after some bloggers were dismissing that win as against a sub par OC team prior to Amat’s fall.
So Fred…is Chino Hills the top ranked team in the Football season ending polls given that Amat lost to Tesora and Chino Hills did not? And what does that say about the Fish Bowl if a great program like Chino Hills gets marginal inclusion all year yet becomes “our own” now?
BTW great win for St. Lucy’s against…you guessed it “our own” Chino Hills. So which is it Fred…you “officially” adding Chino Hills in all sports or just when Amat loses earlier than expected.

Now you have stirred my ire… Fred have you been to a Chino Hills game yet… oh I forgot your a rio-amat man….. only them and no one else…. laughing at our team and making them a 52-21 loser…. I have kept quiet all year but now no more… we Chino Hills lost two games but we never cried or made excues.. like Rio-amat fans…. and you Fred… 1st of all, rio-amat fans and Fred cried about the week nine bye… well get on your A_D they make the schedule not the players or the fans…. 2nd we chino Hills fans are new to the SGV-tribune… so we sat back and watched all you bloggers… say what was on your mind all year… however WHO is still in the playoffs… not amat… by the way they lost to a team we beat…. so what does mean… 3rd… Fred and Abram… unless one of you guys are dating a former amat alum female…. I will give you guys a pass on being such a HOMER… however… 52-21 is not very smart…. by the way Tom the score was 45-21 in the last game.. not 42-21 as stated … two on one is not every fair…thanks Tom for trying to make them understand we are a team… not one kid only… but are kids will go out and play as hard as they can…. watch out….I have no problem with Amat fans I know how passionate you guys are .. I will not disagree that Chino Hills vs. Corona Centennial will be an interesting game and will definitely stretch Chino Hills both offensively and defensively. However, to paraphrase Herb Brooks speech to the US hockey team before they played the Russians in the 1980 Olympics, Chino Hills may lose 9 times out of 10 to Corona Centennial but they only need to win one time and if that one time is this Friday; Centennial watches the finals from the bleachers.

About Time
Really got to give Chino Hills alot of credit for their overall view of what student atheltes should be. They’re routinely well coached, have outstanding facilities and produce great kids who love their school. It seems they understand high school is a launching pad for furture endevous and not an end all to all things “now”.
I’ve always thought it was rather ridiculous to not include them in the local rankings and coverage because they play in arguably the best represented overall SGV league in this area.
They put players and students in some of the best schools in the land yet get no love at all.
Hopefully that will change as the St. Lucy’s vs Chino Hills rivalry has shown…it’s about passion. A passion that comes from beating your neighbor or your best childhood friend.

First of all..im not a Chino Hills fan but i do have to say that..This is High School Football at its finest & anything could happen on any given Friday!~ Just two years ago Amat went into Veterans Stadium in Long Beach & almost pulled off the biggest upset in So Cal history by just barely losing in the last minute to the #1 team in the nation at that time..So i would have to say that…Yeah! The Huskies mite have a chance~ 1st of all they need to win the battle in the trenches..Next they need to corner blitz on 2nd or 3rd & long..A speedy linebacker must stay at home spying on the QB at all times…& lastly they need to force turnovers…The Chino Hills defense will have to play there best game of the season to come away with the upset!~..One last thing that Fred mentioned was to play the most athletic players you have on both sides of the ball~…Im a big fan of any program putting there best players to play both sides it just gives you a better chance of winning~ The end of the 1st quarter should be a indication on how the rest of the game will be decided..

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

As a resident of Half Moon Bay, actually Moss Beach, up by the airport, I must say that you missed much of what the area has to offer. For example, by far the best restaurant on the coast is Cafe Gibraltar in Ed Granda (near the harbor). Although the Moss Beach Distillery is not my favorite restaurant, and is a bit touristy, it is one of the most interesting venues on the coast. It used to be bordello around the turn of the century (the last one) and locals swear it is inhabited by ghosts.
