Early signing period on Nov. 10
Los Altos softball standout Courtney Gano gave a verbal commitment to the University of Washington after her freshman season but will make it official next Wednesday during the early signing period from Nov. 10-17. Basketball, softball, soccer, volleyball, baseball and other athletes who choose to do so (other than football) will make their college intentions official. We're gathering a list of area athletes signing on Wednesday, so if you know anyone signing at your school, let us know.

If you're still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you'll know which is right for you.
I’d have to give blessing with you on this. Which is not something I typically do! I enjoy reading a post that will make people think. Also, thanks for allowing me to comment!

I'm not sure but I think that the following sports can't sign until February 2, 2011: football (except midyear JC/CC transfers), field hockey, soccer, track and field, cross country, men's water polo.
Basketball, baseball, volleyball, and some other sports can sign early from November 10 - 17, 2010. Then their regular sign period opens up again April 13, 2011.
I know there are kids out there who've committed verbally but haven't signed yet, and won't be able to sign until their signing period opens. In the meantime, seniors, don't forget to keep your grades up!
