Why is there so many 1st and 2nd team players? It’s like 15-16 per team. That’s a whole lot! Plus the 4 guys up top!

  • JFR

    This has become a JOKE!

Back in the day this was a special award that stood for something. I saw a freaking patch on a letterman jacket that said quarterfinalists, are you serious. In the (80′s) you got a patch for League and CIF champs and all league 1st team. Ist team consisted of 22 positions and 1 kicker, not even a punter. Survival of the fittest, competition, hard work equals success for the very best not the best plus three other good ones. Liberal football at it’s best, who would have thunk it.

  • Old School

Fred, what are the chances of removing some of your old news? I read, “Coaching search still on at Bishop Amat.” I had to pause for a moment! Did Coach Hagerty quit or fired. Why, I thought?

Aguirre was mentioned as a posible replacement! The one who worked his way into the Amat coaching staff, ripped of the plays, and made sure he had Bishop Amat on his resume when he applied for the Carson position. Please don’t let this happened. Then I noticed the year posted 2008!
Please, please remove your old news Fred. I don’t want to go to the hospital!

  • JFR

    Fred,

What happened to the rant I tried to post, no bad words and wasn’t directed at anyone just the system.

  • Changes

Coaching changes at Damien also! O Coordinator and D coach is gone. Heard going to no huddle offense next year.

Gano is wacked and under pressure at Damien..

  • Damien Status

Interesting isn’t it, remember that comment about a month ago about the Merrill’s going over to Wilson. All those Covina and Damien guys said no way. Dave Merrill is at Wilson already, don’t get me wrong his replacement at AD isn’t too happy about it. David Merrill is sharing the AD spot with his replacement. Dave Merrill’s primary responsibility will be babysitting Coach Zavala next year.

  • NotSince1995

    JFR-

You’re aan idiot! Its called progress, moron…! Coaches decide this process!

Just because you rode a horse to school doesn’t make you old school, but it does make you old!

These kids all deserve to be on this list…!

    Not in 2011 Either…

  • JFR

Not since 1995 (the last time you got some?)

I know the coaches vote on on it idiot, now please explain your progress angle moron.

I drove a 1980 Honda accord stick front wheel drive that did narley 8 inch burn outs ahole.

Still spry enough to put a beat down on your smart A$$ mouth.

The top 11 on each side of the ball deserve 1st team, what part of this don’t you understand. OOOOHHHH I get you were one of those 2nd teamers who know they should have been a 1st team guy so this format would have been perfect for you.

  • Joe Amat

I agree JFR. Take out the MVP’s and Top 11 on each side (plus kickers). Just like the Serra League does it :-)

  • Aaron

How many teams went five wide last season…I’m not sure Bonita even did.

  • 1995

lets put it this way 1995…

lets say you sell 5 pairs of new balances a month at your big 5 job

and your rival at the other location sells 3…

would you like to share employee of the month with him just because hes a good guy that works hard

  • JFR

Last time got lucky in 95,

BACK IN THE DAY, you drove anything your parents put in front of you and my parent were teachers so that bad A$$ honda was passed down from two older brother’s and I wasn’t about to complain. Dude, I ponied up for fake white lambs fur seat covers and thought I was the $h!t.

Thanks for making my argument for me, just because their my “boys” doesn’t make them first team players, the best are the fricking best period!

This is why China is taking over the world, their HS math and science scores were #! in the world this year and the US didn’t score in the top #20 in either. China has become the US of the forties, they work their A$$ off when we say good job johnny, its ok to lose now go play on your computer or video game.

  • COChargerParent

Well done Gentlemen! While it is a team sport, you deserve every part of this individual honor. Only you know the amount of work it took to get this far. You have earned this recognition. This is for you to appreciate and for you to remember.

Good luck to all of you Seniors! Juniors, keep working hard. We’ll see you next year!

Congratulations to all of you and specially to the boys from Charter Oak.

  • Husky Fan

FYI… Adrian Brunson attends Chino Hills not Claremont. GO HUSKIES !!

  • Red Barron

    I’m going to have to agree with JFR. 2 QB’s, 6 WR, 3 RB’s??

One standout QB period. 2 RB’s (one being Ifo), 3 WR and 5 linemen. Next up on each positions and the rest are HM’s.

PK? Are you serious? What’s next 1st substitute?

Don’t ruin the game. Save the cookies, fruit roll ups, and box drinks for the peewees. Now lets all form the parent tunnel and let Johnny run through so that he feels part of the team.

    Child please.

  • Red Barron

Congrats to all the CH kids making this year’s ASL team. I know you all worked hard for this year’s success. To Ifo and Johnson, a special congrats to you two, it was a pleasure to watch the both of you play for the last 3 seasons.

For all you Seniors, good luck in your future endevers whatever they may be. And for the returning players, keep it up and know you will have all the support you need from the North 40 Club.

    Go Huskies!

  • Lancer#76

Thanks Red Barron and North 40 Club. For nothing!

So according to your math WR Scott Calles, Chino Hills Sr., OL Robert Soliz, Chino Hills,Sr, Brad Bergan, Chino Hills Sr. and T Adrian Bruson, Chino Hills don’t belong on the list right? What you are saying is that there are too many CHHS players on the 1st and 2nd list and they are watering down the lists right? In fact you are saying that we shouldn’t have a 2nd team right?

All these guys deserve is the cookies, fruit roll ups, and box drinks right? Lets not forget the little parent tunnel so that little Scotty, little Bobby, little Brad(dy) and little adrian(ny) feel good running through?

Its one or the other Red Barron. You can’t make an open statement and then congratulate your own! Sorry CHHS that is called being a hypocryte. I hope you guys from CHHS know who this Red Barron is. You need to let this guy know what you think of him. I for one don’t want his all area vote for me!

  • JFR

    Fred,

Did the tribune territory shrink? I open up my paper this morning and it’s the Daily Bulletin, what gives.

It cracks me up as a Chino Hills parent that you would write this. The Chino Hills parents are off the hook when it comes to spoiling little Carlos, Bradley, Joey,Mitchell, Andrew, etc. They get ice creams after hot practices, They get lunch brought to them every Wednesday. They have little goodie bags & drinks waiting for them at the bus on away games, their banquets last 5 hours so all the babies get their goodies……..GAG! Chino Hills kids feel they are entitled because their parents still wipe their A$$es. So yes, I agree save all that crap for the pee wees and let the kids grow up!!! That’s why I will never take part in supporting these things….my son needs to know how to grow a set of balls and play for the love of the game not all of the FLUFFY crap.

  • OldMan in Chino

    Fred:
Just wondering, when I was in high school the players who made the All-League teams were voted on by the coaches from the schools in the league. Based upon league standings at the end of the season, each school was allotted certain amount of spots to be filled. The higher the school finished at the end of the season, the more spots the school was allotted. So I am wondering if the glut of players (all of whom are deserving of their placement on the list) is due to the coaches having to fill their allotment of spots much like the Major League baseball all-star teams where each team in the league has to have at least one representative.

  • JFR

    old man in Chino,

The rules aren’t written in stone but if you go by the league standings it pretty much went that way. If you go back the past two years in the Miramonte league CO dominated 1st team because of end results. It was no different this year, everyone knew CH had the best all around talent.

  • LMFAO

CH Husky fan: I was just wondering is that a T Bone steak by your name?? If you get to choose your cute little item by your screen name, why choose a T Bone steak? H.A.T.E.R

  • Red Barron

Husky Fan and 76, did I hit a nerve?

Did you not make the list? Were you over looked by those bad bad coaches across the field. Did you get short changed in the hand out line?

76 I didn’t vote on who made the list. Nor do I care. Congrats is all I have. But 76, if you want everyone to join hands a get a power ranger sticker for their collection and hard work great! Let’s just call it the all appreciation team. You, lil bobby, shorty, and numb nuts can be on the team too. I just say, make it real and if numb nuts doesn’t make it this year, oh well. By the way 76 (or is it one and done lancer), who the hell says you deserve to be nominated on the all area team anyway?

Husky Fan, sounds like you have a little ill will? Calling out your own?? Did junior miss the cut?

“That’s why I will never take part in supporting these things….my son needs to know how to grow a set of balls and play for the love of the game not all of the FLUFFY crap.”

So what you are saying is the you don’t support the Husky program, but your son is on the team and will ride it out so that he too, can be a champion. Husky Fan, next time you want to call me or my son out come do it to my face. You’re talking about how your son needs to grow a set… brother you are not that far ahead of him. Apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree. Maybe that’s why he too was was overlooked.

  • The HELP:

Red Barron: your awsome!! I like your approach..atleast we all know who you are and are not hiding behind a name like (CH Husky Fan) which is BS, how can you be a fan and talk crap on the program? How can you be a fan and not help your program because your were not treated well by your coach in HS? Here at Chino Hills we take pride in our program, thats why we are who we are and year after year we compete at a high level. One team One Dream, get it through your ignorant little mind and either join the team and help support OUR kids or GET LOST FYI theres another school down the road im sure they will take you in, but then again maybe not…no team likes backstabbers as parent role models….YOUR CH HUSKY FAN CARD HAS JUST BEEN REVOKED!!!!! AND TELL YOUR SON NOT TO LINE UP FOR THE FREE MEALS SO HIS BALLS CAN GROW AND MAYBE THEY WILL BE LIKE YOURS, IF YOU HAVE ANY??

  • Lancer#76

    Hey Barron

You hit nothing little man! We are Amat! We are much better and far far superior than you or your Cow Town school!

All I’m saying is that you can’t insult the 2nd teamers and then turn around and congratulate CHHS. Read it again and you’ll hopefully understand what you did Dumb A$$. See the CHHS 2nd teamers, numb nut?

BTW, I don’t want your all area vote!

    Go Blue!!!

No nerve hit here brother. I love Chino Hills Husky FOOTBALL….not all the fluff the parents seem to think they need to spoil their little babies. The CHHS FOOTBALL program, the players & coaches are top notch in my book…..it is the parents I have a problem with. All the BS they do is ridiculous and don’t get me started on the parents boozing it up in the parking lot before games….great example you are setting for your kids…It makes our football program look real good when our chain crew shows up 3 sheets to the wind smelling like frickin’ drunken sailors. Unlike most of them, I realized my potential on the field and do not need to live thru my son’s acheivements. I support my son (he is a starter and didn’t “miss the cut”), the other Huskies and our coaching staff. Talking about holding on to your glory years, didn’t your son graduate????? Still feel a need to be a part of the drunken crew??? Can’t find other friends to party with? I didn’t call your son out….I think he was a fine player and great contributer to the husky FOOTBALL program….my issue is with Chino Hills Football parents.

HELP – Who the hell are YOU to tell me my husky card has been revoked jackass.I have been a part of the Husky FB program since it’s start. My idea of supporting my son and the Huskies is giving them support and showing up to watch them…sober! I am not talking bad about Husky FOOTBALL !

  • Chino Hills Parents….what a Joke

    Husky Fan,
I am with you about Chino Hills parents….they think they are the sh*t. They extend their mortgages to the brink to “one up” each other and pretend they are rich. They are low class PARTY PEOPLE…RIVER PEOPLE…No wonder their kids get busted for drugs on campus!

    Changes-

There are some new coaches at Damien. Anyone who knows Gano can probably guess who they are. The no-huddle rumor is false.

  • auston johnson really?

as i have gone up against the majority of d-lineman in the sierra league i will safely say that auston johnson is only the third best. Peter Nonu and Brandon tuliapupu are both leagues ahead in my opinion

Husky Fan : I KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!! Your the guy that stays as far as he can from the north 40, your the guy in the stand that makes all the comments about the coaching and the program, your the guy that probably lives in chino based on your jealous comments about chino hills…lol…by the way i haven’t pulled any loans on my home yet but ill let you know when i do and maybe i will buy you something nice! and the next river trip we will be sure to invite you…. too many clues give you away like the past Kobe Bryant comments , your fully exposed, especially the fact that you have been here for years and with the program but never help…you can keep your husky card your gone this year anyway…by the way why did you have your kids here if you hate it so bad?? WHOS THE JACKASS NOW? ill make you a deal you remove yourself and i wont post your name on here?? think about it, by the way its not too hard to figure you out it just required a little common sense..Jackass! by the way how about them LAKERS?

  • Red Barron

    76 and Husky Fan,

76, we are Amat! Far better??? Last I checked you were 2nd to CH in the SGV rankings. Go Blue? Try going past the first round. What I have been saying is, there is No need to extend the All League teams so that everyone gets a spot. One QB,2-3 backs, 3 receivers and 5 linemen. Two teams, and rest are HM’s. How much more simplier can that be? Now clean your chin, you’ve got some fruit roll-up on it.

Husky fan, you did call me and my son out. Don’t hide, there is no need to. If you don’t like the parents and can’t stand our enthusiasm for the team and game, so be it. We don’t need you anyways. Don’t throw grenades in a glass house, it just gets ugly.

  • imposter

hey hOOD -this guy is an Amat imposter that has been running around the blog making a bigger ass out of himself than he already was under his previous name by making phony posts meant to rile people up about Amat. take no offense.

Who am I big boy? I do not sit in the stands and whine like a bitch..I let the coaches coach and the players play. I don’t try to “Big shot” it like you north 40 Daddies do. I have heard you guys sit and pick the coaches apart…That’s supporting your Husky football program,,Jackass. I am not leaving…go ahead and tell the world who I am..big deal. The truth hurts doesn’t it?

Why did I have my kids go to CHHS? Because the football program is first rate like I have been saying clown….don’t you read! I said it is Daddies like you that I don’t like. I support in more ways than you would ever know because I don’t flaunt it like you do. I don’t feel a need to big shot it or draw attention to myself. I am confident in who I am and don’t need to party before a game to be “cool”…you Donkeys don’t get it.

red Barron…I did not mean to call your son out. He was a good representative of husky football…undersized but full of passion for the game and played hard. It is the way that many Husky parents represent the program and give all the fluff to the players that I have a beef with. Why do moms feel a need to take “shots” in the stands of a high school football game when they are already drunk…..classless.

I’m sure many of the players on this list worked hard and played hard during season…..but…..there are some that wow! Geeeeeshh Chino Hills and Claremont really make up most of the list. Claremont coach must of pushed hard!

  • Chino Hills

    CH Husky Fan,

I can’t believe you actually have the nerve to call yourself a fan of our kids team. You are the worst thing a high school football program can have. A parent who only drops his kid off at the field, period. That is the extent of the support our program receives from the likes of your kind. You walk amongst us and cast judgement on all of us, laughing with us, at the same time despising us. After the game we even feed your son and congratulate him on his game, still we are trash in your eyes. The members of the North Forty are the backbone of this program, we travel well showing supprt for our team anywhere they play, yet you hate us, how sad. I pity you. Our program is known by the Citris officials, who referee our games, as top notch. Nowhere else are they treated so well. Our chain gang has a reputation of being the best in the area, a compliment given to us by these very same officials. I man the box on the crew and am proud of the way we do our job. Yet you make desparaging remarks about us, man up, you know who I am, or do need your balls to drop. Call me names to my face. I can only hope your son doesn’t turn out to be a jackwagon like you!

We don’t need alumni football parents like you, please don’t grace us with presence next season, thank you very much. We do need supportive alumni parents who will continue to support our young football program.

    Merry Chrustmas

    Go Huskies!

“I can’t believe you actually have the nerve to call yourself a fan of our kids team. You are the worst thing a high school football program can have. A parent who only drops his kid off at the field, period.”

HAHAHA….ok then…just becaause I don’t hang out with the North 40 & get sh*tfaced before a game it means I am not supportive? I go to every game and have contributed over $5,000 in prizes & equipment to support the Husky FB program. Just because I don’t choose to party and be loud and obnoxious like many CH parents makes me unsupportive whatever. Unlike many of “you”, I think this football program is about the kids….not the parents. Being loud, obnoxious and drunk does not make one a “supportive”
fan. As far as our chain crew being told they are the best, I have also been told by my buddies who officiate that our chain crew has a reputation of hitting the sauce smelling like alcohol…even getting comments from opposing coaches about it. Do you and your buddies need to get plastered to do that job and be “supportive” parents? You are on a F-ing high school campus for goodness sakes with impressionable young people around. I myself like to toss back a few cold ones but know the time and place to do so.

So, your little “North 40 party parents group” is the backbone of the program huh….how noble of you to anoint yourself. I know of members of your backbone who hosts parties for our football kids & other students and supplies the kegs of beer for them. WOW, what a great backbone they are creating…way to teach responsibility to our kids…bravo! I have been around this program long before you and will be around long after you move on. I am an avid fan of our kids and the Husky program always have been. I don’t need to flaunt myself and be over the top about it! Maybe when the school officials asked you guys to stop drinking on school grounds you could have been respectful of that instead of moving to a dirt lot to shoving it in their face….real supportive!

I am done with this diatribe – You guys are to boneheaded to realize my problem is with the way some parents choose to “support” or Football program. I support and respect our coaches and players and support their efforts good or bad, win or lose….I do not bad mouth them and “pretend” to know how things should be done.

Great Season Huskies and Congrats for all the player honors you have received and will continue to receive….including our 5 All CIF MEMBERS!

    To all Parents and Alum:
I cant believe this crap is actually going on? Come on, To the Parents and Amum that try to help the program (THANK YOU) it is much appreciated. It takes alot to run this program from our Coaches to our players to our parents, please dont discredit that with your mixed feelings. Its easy if you dont want your son to get a goody bag or a juice box, tell him dont take one if your dont want him to eat a free meal, tell him to not line up for it. I was once told (if you have nothing good to say ,then dont say anything) especially when your not contributing or trying to help. Regardless of your anger and frustrations shall we not post our dirty laundry online so every other city can have gossip about our Program? To our Boys , hopefully the lunches and goody bags didnt hurt you guys when it came time to play, you Boys had a awsome season and we are here to help and serve the program what ever it takes. Lets stay focused on the program for what it is now and what we want it to be in the future! ONE TEAM ONE DREAM! FYI in the future if there is anything you like or dislike about the football program or if you have any concerns there is a monthly football booster meeting held every month while in season everyone is welcome to come for input and feedback, your support is very very appreciated.

I am relatively new to blogging and most likely I am also nave about the purpose of this blog. Given the headline I was lead to believe that it was about the young men who warranted special recognition and their placement on The All-Sierra League list. Instead of reading about how well these young men did during the past football season this blog is now being dedicated to the drinking habits of specific Chino Hills High School parents and how these and other behaviors are an embarrassment to the program. It is not my intention to reprimand however, if these bloggers have issues with how they conduct themselves could they possibly resolve it somewhere else and instead blog about these young men and what they did to earn this special recognition.

AA Teacher …I mean student, I am not at my job in LA, I am in Denver closing a multimillion dollar deal.
I am not jealous. I have plenty of friends and family and I choose to drink with them at appropriate times like here in the lobby of the Hyatt, not in a dirt field.
So you say you know who I am…then tell the damn world. I don’t give a rats ass. Sorry I hit a nerve about the whole trashy, no class topic with your drunken, loud friends….I mean grown women giggling as they pour each other shots of booze in the stands like some little kids sneaking alcohol from their parents liquor cabinet……this right in front of the press box. Coach Cummins was talking about what a joke it was when I talked to him….his exact words were “real classy” That coming from a coach of the program you “support”

Looking forward to checking out the chain gang since we’ll be at your house next year. You guys should be bashing outsiders not members of your own family although it is very entertaining.

I am impressed, I must say. Really seldom do I come across a blog that is both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you’ve hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not a lot of people are talking intelligently about. I am really happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
