Girls Soccer; Walnut, Glendora will have to wait

| | Comments (6) |

Mother nature was too much for the all-weather surface again. The championship of the Walnut girls soccer tournament was postponed tonight, negating an intriguing match-up between host Walnut (3-2) and Glendora (6-1-1). Just as well, you want to watch this in better conditions. Mustangs coach Lorraine Hansen said they're working on a reschedule date. Glendora has been dominant in the tourney, outscoring their opponents 18-1 behind junior scorers Amie Jepsen (11 goals, 6 assiss) and Ally Wilson (7 goals, 15 assists).
