Spanky...before we begin to compare notes as to whom we have seen play this year(I don't mind sharing with you I believe are very good D1 prospects...i was commenting initially on your prediction of the Damien/Amat game ans your assessment of Damiens talent when you said:

I was wondering how you arrived at that erroneous conclusion?

Olehickory, what teams have you actually seen? I've seen 5 of the times' top 10 teams so far, so i think I know what is good basketball. You leave the SGV and see what actual talent is and what top level D1 players are.

As I stated in my earlier post...the season is still quite new and I belive Spanky you need to get out and see some other teams play, La Canada and Bonita are for real. after watching last night, that #3 Rodriquez had a triple double 26 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds which if not mistaken were beeter numbers than the whole Damien backcourt.

Spend a little time to venture beyond Damien's walls to see some very good prep b-ball.

I was at the Damien/Amat game last night. My observations...a very well played game by both teams the game had scoring spurts for both sides but the game for the most part was a 2 to 4 point game. This early in the season both teams played very goog but very different games...Damien has size (4 of the players on the floor were bigger that the tallest player Amat has on their squad) Amat has more athleticism and quicknessand players a very hawking style defense...and Damien has an army of the Bench. As the game wore on the teams battled Damien "bigs" looked fatigued and if not for the Army coming of the bench at the appropriate times of the game this game might would have most likely ended differently. But I will say that this was a very entertaining game and congratulations to the coaches and players...I look forward to seeing you advance far into the playoffs this season.
