Charter Oak offensive lineman Tanner Gibas is one of the top-rated long snappers in the country, and the specialty paid off. Gibas announced on Wednesday that he has accepted a full ride to attend Colorado State. Gibas chose Colorado State, though Kansas and California were interested too. “When you think of scholarships in football you think of the glory positions like quarterback or linebacker, but long snappers are a valued position too,” Gibas said. “I’m thankfull that I got offered. I loved my trip to Colorado State, especially the coaching staff and campus and when I got back home I made the decision to accept and go there.”
