A Bishop Amat fundraiser you don't want to miss, famed Amat alumni going head-to-head in flag football game Saturday at Kiefer Stadium, 3 p.m.
The Bishop Amat softball team's flag football alumni fundraiser game is Saturday at 3 p.m. at Kiefer Stadium, bringing together some of Amat's legendary football players. Amat softball coach Jesse Mendez said marquee alumni players such as Ralph Brown, Daylon McCutcheon, Brian Polak and John Jackson are just a few that already have committed. The teams will be split up between odd and even years, meaning the 1992 championship team that featured McCutcheon would go against Brown's 1995 championship team. Mendez said they were hoping to get legendary quarterback Pat Haden, but Haden might not be able to commit until next year. There will be tailgating with food just like any other Amat game, so don't miss it.

It was really nice to see some awesome players out on the field. Who else can go to ND and be a STARTER and a freshmen on the football team other then a BISHOP AMAT football player????
I would rather watch old guys play football;
than hear a youngster shoot his mouth off!
NEVER SEND A BOY TO DO A MAN'S JOB!
Remember this is a fundraiser, you get to see a lot of former LANCER LEGENDS that made an impact on this very same field. There will also be a fully stocked snack bar with some awsome barbacoa tacos served, all going to help support an up and coming girls softball team, so cmon out have some fun, the weather is Perfect and so is the cause....
I spoke to former USA Today Defensive Player Kory Minor.. He says he too will be playing..
