Know someone who was there. There was only one qb selected, the La Serna kid. Solomon was POY and therefore should have been removed from list. Clearly a typo or editing error. You should be really unhappy that Pendleton was left off list. La Serna did not deserve 8 All CIF players, but when you nominate 18 kids for all CIF, youre a joke and clearly self serving. Pendleton was much better than your qb and you know it.

I know, I know, but slippery slopes can be fun too. Besides, this list just SCREAMS to be reviewed and reviled. By far, the SE all-cif list is the funniest thing seen on Pine Street since Jim Staunton's latest hairpiece. Downright embarrassing is what it is. Since Pete King, Jason Whitlock, and Steve Ramirez have all chosen to remain quiet, I guess it's up to me to review.

First thing is with 45 kids and one adult named, you'd think the voters would find some way of getting most of the division's statistically significant players named, but, as the Aflac goose would say, “Nah”. The real laugher defensively was the omission of Santa Fe's Gael Esparza who led the Chief's all year although the voters did find room for the Coach's grandson who was dinged up all year and finished with 84 fewer tackles than Esparza.

Next is the QB thing: Not only did the list pickers forget Garrett Pendleton, an obvious choice record-wise and statistically but they selected as their second Quarterback a kid who had only thrown ONE BALL ALL YEAR. Granted, Solomon certainly belonged on the list but as a RB or even a UT not a QB. What else . . .

Kicker! How did they pick this kid as the PK? Is this a concession to post cold war tensions with Russia or something? Where do they get these guys? The kid had FOUR FG's and 37 total points; the Bonita guy, an obvious choice in this, the least subjective category here, had 93 points and kicked 13 FG's. There were 11 guys in the division who scored more kicking points and his 23 of 28 PAT kicking ranked him 21st in the Southeast.

Last: How did La Serna get twice as many guys on this list as BoHi? Didn't Bonita beat the Lancers in the Semis? If La Serna has that many better athletes than the Bearcats you'd think they would do better head to head.

This list is complete B.S excuse my language but i see a few guys that should not had made it. Truthfully this list is worst than the all league list. I can not wait until the politics are out of football.

GIVING UP ON NON-SENSE VOTING I GUESS THEY ONLY GO BY THE NAMES THAT THEY KNOW FROM CAMPS AND THINGS AND NOT WHAT THEY ACTUALLY DONE IN THE SEASON.

I can't believe this...this is worse than All-League teams. I'm going homer on this but Garrett Pendleton seems to have received the shaft from 15 coaches.

Chris Solomon is a worthy player at RB as can be seen by his selection as the division Player of the Year. However, he is not a QB and they slid him into that slot anyways. also how only one Bonita player made First team I wouldn't know...but there's one or two o-linemen that were worthy of the recognition in one spot. Oh yeah...all 5'8" and 160 lbs of KC Huth is a defensive linemen!

The politics of lets make everybody happy is a freakin joke. Just remember Chris...you were an All CIF QB...not an ALL CIF RB...at least according to the majority of the coaches the took their teams to the Southeast Playoffs.
