Daily News Online Editor Steven Rosenberg may have saved us. He's been working to restore comments, which are back on. You voted by an overwhelming margin to replace the blog with a new one. Then Rosenberg came to the rescue like Jimmy Chitwood. The recount is in, blog stays.

While the comments were out, I played around with the picture settings and can now wrap pictures to the left or right of my entry. At least something good came out of it.
